I walked in with my 2 friends and got seated almost immediately. We were seated in a small section and were ignored for 30 minutes. Our server went around and talked to the other tables around us, except for us and the table directly beside us. After not being attended to we as well as the table beside us left. AWFUL!!!! Never will return again. Will definitely go to Kokomo for Mexican Food, especially Mi Familia.

We went there tonight because we had heard really good things about it. Honestly, I couldn't tell you authentic from fake Mexican.I do know good food though. This is definitely it. They pay attention to the little details that matter. To start with, the chips are fresh. That makes all the difference. I would have been happy with just those. We also tried traditional steak fajitas and chicken taco salad. Just because this was our first visit. The steak had a very flavorful marinade and was one of the best fajita meats ever. My wife had the salad. The fillings were very good. The shell was outstanding. Again, attention to detail. We've had a lot of bad shells that just ruin the salad. My 5 year old had the arroz con pollo. And she ate as much as a 5 year old can. Also very good. Looking forward to going back and trying other items from the menu.

We went in tonight to try something different. We ordered the ceviche camarone and the molcajete ranchero. Having never tried ceviche before. It was a mixed salad of shrimp, tomato, onion and cilantro in a vinegar dressing. Very light and refreshing. Very tasty. Even my wife who doesn't like tomato was enjoying it. The molcajete is a very hearty flavorful mix of several different meats served in a very large, hot stone bowl. It was still sizzling when it came out. Kind of like a fajita in a bowl. Only much tastier. Perfect for low carb diets is you stay away from the usual side plate. Very tasty
