The sausage and Pepperoni with mushrooms was great. And had plenty of sauce - zero complaints. However the Margherita pizza we ordered - was not a true Margherita pizza. The tomatoes are diced and the mozzarella is just shredded cheese and there was zero basil taste. And on top of all of that the pizza was Kind of dry tasting.We ordered take out so nothing to say about inside or service.

Monical's is a chain. I haven't visited this location before. Called up for a take out order. Good service and decent pizza. The pizza is cracker thin with only a tiny layer of soft dough, which I like but this was on the dry side. The staff were efficient and helpful taking my order over the phone. Monical's isn't my go to spot but is ok for something different once in a while. Service 4.0, pizza 3.0. Old school pizza in a bag 5.0. Breadsticks 3.5. Located in a strip mall anchored by PetSmart, near SR 38 and US 52 Sagamore Parkway South.

Updating my review after 8 years (8!) and Monical's is still one of my favorite places in Lafayette for lunch.The dining room is so nostalgic and fun, many interesting items on the walls to enjoy. No matter where you are seated you will enjoy the decor.The individual pleaser on the lunch menu is a good value and a delicious lunch. It's just the right size salad and pizza to satisfy your hunger without making you feel too stuffed or sleepy to return to work. Try drizzling the famous red dressing and ranch on your pizza, that's how I learned to eat Monical's pizza when I was first introduced to it 20 years ago in Illinois. You can purchase the dressings in bottles to take home.As always, service is friendly and fast.

Really good pizza, when they get it right. I like the flavorful thin crust pizza. However, if you're trying to feed a family of 6 and they all like different things, you're gonna need to take out a loan for dinner.

First of all this is only my opinion , my husband thought the pizza was fine . I did not . The crust was hard as a rock it seemed like an over cooked crepe not a yeast dough ,the pepperoni , an extra cost, was sliced so thin you could see through it ., ditto the mushrooms chopped too tiny and both toppings being so sparse they barely contributed any taste . Ok that's the bad here's the good . We ordered chicken wings and they were perfect . Well seasoned well cooked that even I ,rarely more than a 2 wing person ,had 4 .

The food was good, however it was delivered after 1.5 hrs and it was barely warm. Usually I love Monical's however the two times I have ordered it here in Lafayette since moving a couple months ago, I have been disappointed in the speed of service. May try again, but not for delivery that is for sure.

Got curbside pick up a few weeks ago. Service was great; they were more than happy to drop it off in the trunk of our car and take payment over the phone. The pizza is a good size, thin crust, and great toppings. We went for the vegetarian option, with a half-and-half pizza. Will be going back!

The pizza for delivery used to be great -- hot, fresh, and delicious, but that was a long time ago. I recommend that you shouldn't order delivery unless you want chewy, cold pizza with hard, inedible crusts. We have given Monical's more than enough instructions and chances, but we're done. Restaurants go from great to good to bad, and this place seems stuck in a rut it will never get out of.
