I wanted to stop in and buy my boyfriend a cigar and was discriminated against for having a service animal by the employee working here and also verified by her calling the owner. they requested that I provide certification which I explained does not exist. I asked where they wanted the certification from since there is no official registry and registering with any of the unofficial registries is completely voluntary and in the disability world is seen as a scam (as they are not legally required or recognized as legal documents). They had no answer just that if I didn't have "papers" I couldn't buy anything and had to leave. I tried to explain to her that this was illegal discrimination and she didn't care she just kept yelling at me. I even offered to show her from a govt .gov website (a very credible source) if she's didn't believe me and she refused. I am blind in my left eye and have a glass eye. It is pretty obvious that I have a disability. To be humiliated and embarrassed over it ruined my night and made me feel bad for needing my service animal and for being disabled. Because if I didn't have him with me and if I was normal and had both eyes I wouldn't have been treated that way. It's already hard enough in this world but to have someone not even willing to educate themselves and at your own emotional and mental healths expense is really a low blow. I'm writing this the morning after this happening and it's still heavily on my mind and I'm still really really upset about how I was treated. After I left I didn't even go on to my plans, I went back home.

AVOID - watch your bill - they charge more than what's marked!!!Have stopped in from time to time. Selection in humidor is pretty good for such a small place. Tattooed hipsters rush you through selections and don't really know any details about the cigars other than to say, that one is sick! Or that one gives you a nice nicotine rush.Always seems like the bill doesn't quite go with what's marked. Picked out 6 cigars, none of which was more than $8.00 and a few were $2 off. My wife threw in a few for $20 and the bill was $105.Didn't want to argue so I paid and left. Will not be going back. Beyond words.

Stopped in today for a cigar, beer, and some nachos. Had the absolute best nachos I've ever had in my life! Nice jazz playing in the background, good conversation, a great place to relax and hang out.

Found this place while in town for business. Wanted to try a fancier place downtown, but not on Saturday night. The pix are not current. It's more wide open now after an obvious remodel. Atmosphere was good for the most part. Nice server. Decent selection. Higher prices than back home. Opted for something totally random and was not disappointed. I'd go back, but can tell it's mostly a locals place b/c they were hoarding the comfy chairs.

Okay so I am a growing cigar aficionado, and am slowly learning the intricacies of a good stogie. This place is located in Avon, (Actually Hendricks County and not Marion County/Indianapolis as some folks think), and is right next to Crown Liquors.It's one of "those places" that I always see when i am going in to buy my booze, but never stop in.Until recently.The place has been opened up and the humidor is FREAKIN' Huge (long).They have a nice wide variety of smokes, and I picked up a Macanudo 1968 and a couple of LGC's here.They also seem to have drinks (bar) and food although there were only two other people here beside the guy that seemed to be working the front.I didn't get a chance to check the rest of the place out, so honestly I can't give it more stars, but I like the service and will be back, and will definitely do a more thorough check out.So far so good though....

The atmosphere, selection, and patrons are diverse and great. Its the perfect place to spend a cold Saturday: tucked into a leather chair or sofa, Scotch and cigar in hand, relaxing with other cigar lovers while enjoying the ebb and flow of conversation topics and cigar smoke.Get here, pick a stick, find a chair, and enjoy!

Super customer service. Megan has great knowledge of the products they sell. These products include cigars and the beers they have on tap. She is also a great bartender and knows her bourbon. l love knowing there is always another girl here with me when my man is here; She always makes me feel comfortable. Thanks Megan and thanks for the best WATER IN AVON!!!

Good selection of cigars. Helpful and courteous staff. This will be a regular stop for me during my trips to Indy.
