Good stuff for a good cause! Clean, organized, kind and helpful employees. It's a "hit or miss" kind of place. So much to choose from and it's organized in a way to search for those bargains. There are items that have been used, worn and donated, but also new items donated by businesses.

Clean, organized store. Friendly, helpful staff. Merchandise fairly priced!!merchandise clean. This should be everyone's go to resale store!!!

I almost don't want people to know about this awesome place, I stopped here before going to pick up items for our food pantry at work, and I was pleasantly surprised at what I found here.This store is so clean and well organized! I loved checking out all of the woman's items, they have so many options and it's a great amount of nice clothing items, I was impressed with the selection. They have a mens and kids section, as well as home goods, food, and other great items. I'll be back to check them out again, when I have more time to browse: This place is amazing! I'm glad it's an option for the citizens of indianapolis.

This is a great local option for a thrift store. Everything was clean and organized, which is not always the case for thrift store. It looks more like a consignment shop with curated areas of clothing and accessories. The prices are reasonable as well.

Last year, I would have rated Mission 27 5 stars. The good: I've been going here for a year or two. I've befriended a few of the employees, and shopped here multiple times a week. I stocked my apartment with their stuff. Loved the brand-new home and personal items. Modern and tidy store, cute coffee shop. The bad: MAJOR spike in prices over the last year. my BIGGEST frustration and the reason I stopped shopping here so much is because they probably doubled their prices since last summer. They sell lots of items that are brand new and donated from target. They used to sell the items for maybe 25% of retail price, meaning most things were just a few dollars. I'd say they've at least doubled their prices. As a loyal customer, it's annoying and has meant I don't stop in as often and when I do, I buy significantly less. It also means prices are less accessible for the poor and needy - which is a bummer because it's supposed to be what they're about. Overall, good place, just dissatisfied with the changes in pricing. I'll still come in but hope management considers lowering their price hike.

I was looking for used furniture stores when Mission 27 popped up on my radar. They're a St. Vincent DePaul mission that helps families in need of clothing and assistance, with proceeds going towards their mission.They have a seemingly happy staff of people who address one another cheerfully by name. I was acknowledged and greeted a number of times. Shelves and racks of quality donations are carefully organized and separated by rooms. There is an extensive variety to select from, whether your style is vintage, classic or modern. I left with several hoodies at ($5.99), a lot of Fiesta ware, a Kate Spade purse ($15.99, not yet authenticated) and a like new Eddie Bauer suitcase ($9.99) and matching travel bag ($5.99).I found their prices to be on the higher end, but fair, considering. I believe you can check their social media for sale dates, including their regular Tuesday discount prices that someone mentioned were 30% off.

Loved this place, as well as its mission. The prices were amazing and the staff friendly and helpful. I scored a cool sweatshirt for $5 and my daughter got a jean jacket for 3. My son got a super cool leather coat for $20. A steal!I love how the store is set up and I didn't feel claustrophobic like I do in other thrift stores Love it. Will be back!

I might not ever enter a Goodwill again, folks. Tucked away on the Eastern edge of Bates Hendricks is a gem of a resale shop. We were initially introduced to Mission 27 at their pop up event at the Woodruff Place flea market. We found brand new, adorable chairs for $20 each! After purchase, the sales woman directed us to check out their main location and gave us a coupon. The store itself is large and extremely well organized. It felt much less of a "This is that stained shirt from freshman year of high school that I forgot to get rid of so I'll donate" store and more of a "holy moly, how is this so cheap?! It looks brand new!" Store. Clothing, linens, furniture, books- they had some of everything. Mission 27 is a part of St. Vincent De Paul which focuses on helping those in poverty through food pantries, legal aid, and other programs to help end generational poverty. So if you're looking for a way to save the earth by buying less new stuff and want help others, check out Mission 27!

Some really great buys! Employees were very friendly and helpful. My only complaint was, they didn't have hardly any baby boy clothes! Tons of girl clothes! They had older sizes, from 2 and up. I wanted newborn to 1 yr. They had a nice variety of just about everything imaginable. Some really nice pieces of furniture too. A lot better prices than 'the good will'!! Much cleaner by far!!! This was my 3rd time into Shelby Street. Also went to their other location today for the first time. It was nice also with a lot of choices! Keep up the good work "Mission 27"!
