Our church, Shalom Christian Church, ordered two trays of noodles for our birthday celebration. They were delicious! Great texture and flavor! Nothing was left in the pans! If you have a noodle craving this is the place to go!

I was in the area and decided to see if there was an Asian restaurant close by. As I read the reviews on Yelp about this place, I took a chance even though the reviews were not really that current. I want to give them more stars, but the ordering process, and what food I ended up with was a confusing mess. There was no one in the place when I went. I wanted to order and take it home. I wanted chicken lo mein but ended up with chicken pad Thai as well. I simply asked that they not put fish sauce or oyster sauce in my food, and she thought I ordered both meals. After they tried to fix it, which they really didn't, I just wanted to get out of there. I didn't get an apology, and felt like it was my fault. It was odd and uncomfortable. I thought she understood what I was asking but there is clearly a language barrier. She didn't repeat my order after wrote it down. I will make sure I ask that they do that next time. The dining area looked tidy and clean enough. The plastic menu was a bit sticky and they didn't have any paper to go menus. The food is just OK. The noodles were chopped up and mangled. I barely had any chicken in my meal. The pricing is what I expected considering inflation, and the amount offered for the price was fair enough. Regardless, I don't think I will be going back. My search continues.

This spot is easily one of my favorites on the south side of Indy. Hidden within a strip mall, this gem has numerous choices -- none of which you can go wrong with. If you're new to Burmese fare, this is a great place to go to get something delicious and relatively familiar. If you're a fan, this is the best place in Indy for fantastic Burmese food. My personal favorite is the Malaysian pearl noodles! They're to die for.

We never did seem to get our timing right to eat at this restaurant as they close really early. So please check the timing before you plan a visit out there. We finally did make it about a week ago and glad that we got in there with 40 minutes to close of the restaurant. It is a simple restaurant but the menu is simply outstanding. If you aren't sure about what to get please ask the wait staff as they are very helpful. Service was fast and we had a good time, do try their Phaluda. It was the perfect after meal dessert cocktail to take away. We will back for more from this place. Another one of those hidden gems that we hope to enjoy more at and from.

Never had Burmese food before today and it certainly won't be the last time!! I threw myself on the mercy of the House for a Chef's Surprise. Had the Burmese Large Noodle Salad that came with lemongrass soup and their version of Kim Chee. Out the door for $8.00!! Impossible to

Such a hidden gem!!! Food is excellent here and cheap. Portion is generous too. Owner doesn't have the best English but is very sweet and nice. Their pineapple shrimp fried rice was delicious! I also get hotpot there was is amazing as well, everything is fresh and the broth is tasty. I come often for this two things but want to try their noodles next time!

If you've never had Burmese food before (like me), it is heavily influenced by Chinese, Thai, and Indian cuisine. So expect some dishes from those regions or similar-tasting dishes. If you want classic Burmese dishes, order off of their handwritten menu tucked into the front page. Both dishes I tried (recommended to me by the hostess) were great: the Australian Lamb Stew and the Hong Kong Noodles. Neither were over-seasoned or over-sauced, which is a good indication that they are sticking close to their roots. The Lamb Stew had a bone broth base, which was evident from the gelatinous mouthfeel. My only issues with this dish was that it did seem a bit lacking because the only meat present in the soup was attached to bones and there were no noodles, and the broth was a bit on the gamey side for my taste. However, I was in love with the Hong Kong noodles. It used vermicelli rice noodles and was filled with egg and other delicious proteins in a light, fragrant soy (?) sauce (similar in taste to fried rice but in noodle form).Dining area and kitchen (which we could see into from the front of the store) appeared clean based on what we could see (we ordered takeout). This place is off the beaten path. The staff and 99% of the customers are Burmese, so it holds virtually no online presence. It was completely by happenstance that I stumbled across this place. But I highly recommend it for anyone looking to expand their culinary horizons!

Pretty good. Owners are Burmese. I had a quick carry out. They have Pad Thai on the menu, and it was good. Very good for the price. But it was not the same recipe that I would normally expect at an actual Thai restaurant. But since they don't call themselves a Thai restaurant, this is not a complaint. I'm merely telling you what to expect.Nice staff. And there were Burmese customers there.

Very inexpensive with most dishes at $6 or such. The pho (meat soup) is great. Wonderful customer service. They were excited to show off their dishes! I would definitely return.
