Mass Ave Wine

Sometimes you find a cute little place that has everything you're looking for. That's what Mass Ave Wine is to me. Lisa and her team is super knowledgeable about every wine in the store and they are always willing to help you find the perfect bottle for your taste (and budget). I love the pizza and snack items that they have. The Metza pizza is a personal favorite, but I also make sure I get fresh basil that's grown in house on my pizza too!I've also joined the wine club, which gives me a monthly trio of wines to try something new. I've found several bottles that I've really liked and keep on hand. Seriously, put this on your list to check out. Just remember, browse as much as you want, but if you wanna buy something, the staff has to carry it to the register for you!

I stopped here with a friend while we were waiting on a table at a nearby restaurant. We were able to order a glass of wine and an order bread and oil. Very good! The atmosphere is super nice! Cozy and welcoming! 10/10 recommend going for a glass with a friend!

Decided to meet up here with some friends after work, it's a great location!Several different selections of wine, and I consider everything there to be very reasonably priced!Don't be scarred to ask questions, they really help you out.I had a tasty glass of white to start, that was drinkable and just the way I enjoy my whites, on the dry side.I had a rose wine flight, that was an interesting variety of flavors.We had a goat cheese, pesto with crackers that was tasty and perfect for sipping wine.To finish my friends and I split a sparkling rose that I very much enjoyed!Love this place, and can't wait to get back soon! Delicious wine, cheesy, gooey, tasty, pizza, lovely staff who are knowledgeable about wine, intimate warm space.. yes please! I got to learn about Mass Ave Wine through the Circle City sippers wine club, and they are legit. I love learning about the different vintages, wine types... I never new Port is a Portugal style wine. Lol makes sense. They have a lot of different mixers, wine, cheese. A great place to connect with friends. Love the space, drinks, and everything.

We came here on a Thursday afternoon when we were the only customers, at least until some vendors came in to talk to who we presume was the owner. It feels more like a shop than a wine bar. There are only a handful of tables inside. We came in to order a glass of wine and a snack. First off, they literally had 3 wines available by the glass. The lone employee working there (not the owner) described them as "a white, a red, and a rose." That was it--she gave no other information until I asked what variety the red was. Strange for a place that specializes in wine. For our snack, we attempted to build our own charcuterie board but they were out of several items. The same employee called out what was in the refrigerator, so we managed to assemble a decent enough board to satisfy our hunger. The glasses of wine were also good, so that's why we give Mass Ave Wine 3 stars. But we probably won't be back.

Impressive selection, and the staff's expertise shines through in their wine recommendations tailored to your taste. A definite recommendation!

Enjoyed a delicious and plentiful wine dinner at Mass Ave Wine tonight. A five course menu prepared by Lisa and Robin @massavewine with perfectly paired wines repped by informative Joseph, from @SkurnikWines. The wine shop provides an intimate setting for local wine enthusiasts to socialize and break bread. Mass Ave Wine provides a wide variety of wines that are unique and reasonably priced.Stop in to purchase a bottle (or two) of wine from a locally owned shop or join the wine tasting, every Tuesday at 5:30 or the wine dinner the third Monday of every month.

When I walked in the first time and saw a sign out front the read, "Wine is our Love Language" I knew I was going to like it. This is the diametric opposite of your huge liquor store. It has an intimate selection that has been curated by the owner Lisa. She hand picks every every thing she she brings in. As soon as you come I you are greeted warmly by her or her associate Amber. You can browse the shelves and they will bring it to the counter or the table for you. The prices are very reasonable and the service is wonderful.

I love this sweet spot! It's locally-owned, small and intimate, and offers tons of wine options. It's also located on Mass Ave, a fun Indy street that boasts tons of restaurants, bars, and shops. You can order a glass or a bottle of wine, and the owner is happy to help you choose something you'd like. For the non-wine folks, you can also enjoy a local beer or cocktail. They serve small plates of food: meat and cheese plates, pesto tortes, warm bread with dipping oil, hummus and nuts. They also make full pizzas, salads, and sandwiches for the hungrier people (me). This is a great place to meet a small group of friends and enjoy their company. You'll be able to hear each other and really just soak in that quality time.

Great place to chill. The owner helped me find a nice lager. She said it was Stephen King's favorite. Pretty good lager and affordable.
