Magoo's Pub and Pizza

First timer at Magoo's. Great pizza options! 2 members of our party got a rum and coke and I ordered a margarita. Drinks were mixed well. We ordered a 16" Detroit-style pep and sausage and a 16" hand tossed deluxe. Wonderful! The Detroit-style had a nice caramelization of the cheese. Sauce was not too sweet, not too spicy or salty. Definitely looking forward to the next time I go back!

The food was great, ambience super fine! Christmas party going on and we had a really bad service from our waitress (Tami).Apparently she was making judgements about us to excuse her to serve us, like you guys are ready for checks when we're not, rudely, after that she brought us the check, cause she judged us drunk! And believe it, she said that in our faces!!!!!!!! Thankfully we were not drunk at all to remember all this. Super inconsistent with what we're expecting from her, since we said that we're not ready for checks.Anyways, hopefully this feedback will help with quality of service! Others waitress around were super friendly.

Stopped in on a Wednesday evening for pizza and beer. We were the first customers in at 4pm. As soon as you open the door, you can smell the pizza. It is slightly overpowering at times but not bad. Magoo's is non-smoking and has a renovated patio for smokers. We ordered the Chicago-style pizza and it took maybe 15 minutes to arrive. It was hot and very filling. I consider this a 'destination pizza'. It is the type of pizza you drive to get because you like it that much.They have everyday tall boys for $3 and other specials. It is a local, after work crowd with a mix of young and old. We always enjoy coming here and look forward to coming back soon.

Stopped here to grab a quick bite. Very quick service, affordable and DELICIOUS! We loved the laid back vibe and friendly feel. Would highly recommend!

I've lived in Lafayette Indiana my whole life, and I've grown up with Tom Riehle in his establishments around town, and have been...will always be...a big fan of his. Magoos is a small place with big attitude filled with local Northsiders. The wait staff is well trained and very nice! hubs and I were there last Friday because we'd heard rumors of this phenomenon deep dish pizza now being served. We got the Detroit style pepperoni. Holy S%!T was is delicious! Perfectly crusty burnt cheese around the edge just like it's supposed to have. Loads of toppings! The chew to the crust was perfection! You know how sometimes you can catch a glimpse in the kitchen at a place and wonder if you should actually eat the food after seeing what you've seen? Well, not here. There's a large opening for you to look right in, and the chef is amazing! The live music is always great! The patrons are incredible. We were bellied up to the bar and in no time everyone was laughing to talking with everyone. I think they have cash drawings here as well. I didn't get a pic but the outdoor seating is quite nice too, with speakers so it has ambiance too!! One last thing; even though Tom DOESN'T have Sauvignon Blanc they DO have wine. The Pinot Grigio was surprisingly good for this little hometown bar. They even have challises for you to drink your wine from like every princess should have!!!

Small college town feel with fantastic pizza. It's a must try and the prices are great.

Pizza is top notch in town. Easily top 5 in Lafayette! Non-smoking, a Plus for dining in.

If you haven't tried Magoo's Pizza, you are missing out. Their pizza and breadsticks are the best in town!

One week ago, July 13, 2024, my 55th class reunion was at this establishment. Arrangements were made beforehand, and the owner and staff were extremely accommodating and professional! We had our reunion in the outside dining area. Food was excellent, service was wonderful and the atmosphere was great! They even made arrangements to accommodate special requests I had. My thanks to the owner and his wonderful staff!

Pizza and house salad are the best. Brothers say their Stromboli is better than Arni's. A bit noisy. Tables are a bit too cozy with each other. I'd recommend.
