A great place. Not many people eating at 7:00 (7+us) but it was a great menu and the food was great. I really wanted shrimp scampi but saw it wasn't on the menu. Like magic it appeared. I asked for angel hair and the waiter wasn't too confident but like magic it also was on my plate. John ordered the beef Wellington which was perfect. Served with potatoes and carrots and the best gravy you could want. Kudos to the chef. I wish I lived closer. Not a fan of the chain restaurants when traveling. Mark a 5 star in the book.

Let me preface this review with this restaurant catered my wedding so obviously I love it!!! I went to Terre Haute for a funeral and had to stop by my favorite restaurant in the city. I have eaten here literally hundreds of times. The owner/chef is always so accommodating. I usually order something off the menu and he makes it happen. Here are some of my favorites:Shrimp scampi Seafood Risotto Scallops Scampi Vodka Pasta with Steak/Shrimp/Scallops On the menu favorites:French onion soup Tuna Sashimi Beef Wellington Lamb Chops Caesar Salad Tonight we had shrimp scampi and steak vodka pasta. My husband gets it extra spicy. Everything was excellent. As appetizers we ordered the Tuna Sashimi and French onion soup. Husband ended the night with bananas foster. Service is always good and drinks are never empty. We love Shawn and enjoy our conversations with him. This is a place to enjoy a nice dinner out without any rush and hustle and bustle. It's a leisurely time to enjoy your company and of course the food!! Do yourself a favor and stop it. You won't be disappointed.

We were looking for a place to eat before RAIN bike ride tomorrow and this place was spectacular! There were 10 of us and the service was outstanding. Great apps, Caesar salad, risotto, lamb chops, snapper and chicken Marsala. Topped off with cheesecake and tiramisu! Just a great dinning experience and you could tell the locals knew about it. Strongly recommend it for a tremendous dinning experience.

The food is always great, but I always order off the menu as they can create things ratherPersonal service by Shaun is excellent. It is one of the main reasons we go there.

Great food friendly service. Awesome experience overall. Staff is very attentive, the atmosphere is very Serene and peaceful. And just makes time to come out in the dining room and talk to everybody personally

The interior was dated and the service was slow. The food was okay.... not good enough for me to return.

Wonderful food and great service from the owner/chef. Stumbled on this on a long trip. Expensive but worth it.

Really, really good food. Finding food of this quality here was a BIG surprise, no offense to Terre Haute (which buy the way is a very interesting place). A very welcoming place and elegant as well. The chef/owner (similar to many places in France where I grew up) was super accommodating; when my wife ordered the snapper special I was reluctant to order the same thing so he offered to prepare my fish in a different way and both were delicious! If you find yourself near Terre Haute as we did, driving across the country, stop here; you will love it!
