Luis's Fresh Market

What a fun surprise! We randomly searched "Mexican grocery store" while on the hunt for a special spice and voila! there was Luis' Fresh Market half a mile down the road. I can't believe this spot doesn't have more reviews!A few reasons to add this spot to your bucket list:-part restaurant and part grocery store featuring a butcher counter and plentiful produce (the restaurant was hopping during our visit - they have mangonadas and sweet treats as well!)-the produce looks great and is very reasonably priced-they have chicharrones - 'nuff said, right?-Impressive offering of Latin American cheeses from Honduras, Guatemala and Mexico to name a few. -easy parking-large selection of spices, canned items and dried beansEven if you don't have a grocery list at the moment, this spot is fun enough for an exploration visit alone. Enjoy!

The cashiers here are so rude. One lady kept throwing my groceries in the bags and I asked her to stop slamming my things. I wondered maybe she was in a bad mood whatever I gave it another try and then the guy cashier screaming at me tells me yes tells me to go to the other line doesn't even say excuse me or please or thanks he was such an ass. I don't like to give bad reviews but this store's customer service is horrible.

This place is NOT closed. I'm here right now and it's most definitely open. I will recommend someone in your group speak Spanish, the experience is better, but the menus are fully translated and have pictures.The steak burrito was amazing! It had tender meat seasoned and well flavored, avocados, tomatoes, sour cream, and lettuce bundled with the heavy portion of meat. The chicken salad is loaded with freshly sautéed meat, avocados, oranges, tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, and cucumbers.The drinks are sweet and fresh, the service is friendly, and the price is affordable.v

The new owner of this market has revived this store and restaurant. We previously visited 5 years ago and were turned off. The restaurants is tremendous! This will be our new favorite place for Mexican food!!!! The lengua taco and asada tacos were heavenly --not overcooked!!
