Louie's Coney Island

Love going to Louie's when I'm in town. Food is great and very tasty. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Orders come out fast. Nice little local diner flavor to the place. Always clean and well maintained. Definitely recommend you head over for a Coney. Downsides are is they are closed Sunday and Monday. They close at 6.pm so get there early for dinner.

Louie's...I worked in Kokomo for 28.5 years and ate many a coney and bake. My goodness what a good taste. Delicious and absolutely a unique treat.

My daughter and I were visiting family in town and I wanted to take her to a place that was near and dear to my heart and a place I used to visit often when I lived in Kokomo. We sat down and were served promptly by the nicest servers. They all complimented my little girl and were referring to her as a little princess. I ordered a couple of bakes and my kiddo ordered a plain hot dog and we shared an order of fries. The bakes were delightful as always and the fries were hot, crispy, and delicious. The kiddo loved her hot dog. This place is a gem. It always has been and I hope it will always be. Two drinks and an entire lunch and we were both stuffed for about $12. Can't beat that. If you're traveling through Kokomo give this place a try and try the bakes! They are famous!

I absolutely love Louie's, it's a Kokomo staple and hopefully always will be. It's my go to for chili cheese dogs, and my husband loves the bakes. The service is great it's usually teenage girls and they work their butts off. I have always had fast friendly service. They have a unique dining set up, you can sit at the large bar top or pick a booth or table. I recommend trying you absolutely won't be disappointed!

Different offering is a plus. I know of nowhere else that serves 'bakes'. Local unchanged ambiance and competent, friendly servers helps .

Locals only type joint, good "bake" basically a Coney Island with out the hot dog. Greek Salad I ordered was disappointing. No Pepperoncini peppers, no Green Peppers, no Kalamata olives, little to no meat or feta cheese. Could have used a shake or to of Oregano, very bland. Servers were slammed at lunch time, very friendly. Looks like the archaic drive thru system could use a fix!!

The food the service is amazing I love this place. I miss it now that I'm not in kokomo anymore. Can't wait to come visit and eat there again

The "bakes" are amazing. I try to stop here when I travel through Kokomo. It is worth going a little bit out of my way.

My Dad, Albert Buckner use to come to Louie's every time he came to Kokomo.So when I come to Kokomo I eat here too! Nothing else like Louie's!
