Lord Ashley's Pub & Eatery

I heard about Lord Ashley's Pub & Eatery and there brunch buffet and knew we had to go check it out. It's not a typical buffet. You order and they make it fresh for you, but it is all you can eat. I really liked this idea, because not everyone is touching the utensils and breathing on the food. This is an older building, but it was clean and we had a great waitress. It wasn't very busy and our food always came out fresh and tasty. I started out with a small omelet and bacon. They had all the veggies and meats you would want! We also shared hash browns. I did a half order of the gravy and I thought it was pretty good. Not too spicy and a half order was perfect. We ended with splitting a waffle! I think the made to order buffet if the perfect option when you don't know what you want to eat!

The fried chicken salad can serve two people! This thing is loaded....They make their own salad dressing and I decided to get the green goddess dressing. It's the perfect compliment: smooth, creamy and coats everything well. With every bite it seemed to keep growing. The chicken was crunchy and seasoned well. I'm looking forward to trying their other salad options.

My family and I have driven by 100's of times and never paid attention to this place. And we should have. Don't let the interior of the place mislead you, it's older looking but it's no indication of the food or service. We came in for the breakfast buffet and found out it's not a buffet. Instead it's one price and order as much as you'd like. Which is much better than a buffet because everything came out fresh. All of the food we ordered tasted great and it was a very fair price. We will definitely be back in the future.

Eh, not bad but not worth the price. Food was mediocre. People were friendly but lacked in the service department. For a place with all you can eat breakfast, they definitely needed more than one server. Also suggest ordering your next round of food when they bring the first round as it takes forever. Would've given more stars if it were more affordable. The food doesn't match the price.

I was very disappointed in the breaded tenderloin sandwich, unfortunately. The breaded mushrooms were good though

The service I had at a recent visit to Lord Ashley's with my elderly mother ws above and beyond expected. One of the Staff members saw us approaching with my mother using her walker and came to help us with the doors. Then helped me get her seated at a table. they gave us all the time we needed to decide on our orders. When we were finished with our meal they again helped me get her out of her chair to her walker and opened doors for us. the food was good and reasonable in price, but the service was exceptional.

I love Lord Ashley's! They stayed open late for my 40th birthday. We had great service and the karaoke was such a great time. Already planning to return for my 50th birthday!

Positive: Server Miranda was very friendly and helpful. Also, the pork tenderloin was large, and we were able to split it. Finally, we enjoyed the salad, and the amount of dressing was more than adequate.Negative: As soon as we walked into the restaurant, I noticed a musty (moldy?) smell. Second, the carpet and walls were unsightly. Third, the chairs were quite uncomfortable, and I went home with a sore back.

I've been coming to this place since it was located on East Washington Street. Their food is consistently good and service is top notch. The ribs are fall off the bone and meaty, very delicious. Everything I have had there is delicious.
