This course for the area is a solid course. The fairway are tight but a lot of crab grass and random bushes. You could tell the designers mis-hit some shots and put bushes where the balls land. Not many sand traps.The greens weren't cut so we're slow but if cleaned up, I feel would be good and pin placements are middle of greens it seemed from past hole locations. My biggest star was the gentlemen at the counter who attended the shop with professionalism and also sold the bar. Very nice to talk to and talked me through every hole. Good price of $25 for 18 holes with cart at twilight rate!!! Won't find that rate anywhere else except GOAT RANCHES!!

My teenage son and I enjoyed a round of gold today. The staff was friendly. Driving f range was in good shape and gave us ample room to warm up. Plenty of room to putt and chip as well. The tee boxes are in average shape. It is early and with the jail sentence we are all under, i am sure the lack of play and revenue have led to some of the things that could use help. Greens were in good shape, rolled a little slow but rolled fair. The bunkers were playable and they were working on defining them much better. I would recommend the course. A little bit of everything. Water, long holes, challenging short holes, large greens, and a nice lay out.

Played it once this year, about a 6 weeks ago. This course still needs a lot of work! Back in the day it was one of the nicest courses around! Management really let this beauty go to cow pasture status in the last 10 years or so! I did notice a slight improvement this year, I just hope this thing is trending in the right direction. Fairways still need a lot of work!!
