Line Em Up Saloon

Look. If you expect anything other than a classic dive bar teetering in that space between salty and mildly dangerous...you're not going to want to come here. But if you want a no-frills, neighborhood bar with a jukebox, a pool table, and a constant atmosphere that's friendly, entertaining and full of townies, this is the place. I once came here and randomly enjoyed a Walmart-catered birthday meal for one of the owner/bartenders, free to all patrons. Cheap booze, cheap thrills; just the way you like it. Nothing more, nothing less.

If you're looking for a dive bar near Garfield Park, then this is where you need to go. And as far as dive bars go, this one has more to offer than most. There are live performers, a jukebox, and a very nice outside patio area with cornhole. Buckets are cheap and the staff is super friendly! Oh, and the locals are hilarious! My friends and I are going to make coming here a weekly tradition. Pics to come!

Come with friends. Not the kind of place I'd recommend to come alone. Fun for karaoke and dive bar drinks.

Myself and 2 other friends went here based on previous reviews. After about 10 minutes, we quickly regretted this decision... At first, the elderly female bartender seemed very nice but after waiting 15 minutes for our second round of drinks, I noticed she had focused her time at the end of the bar. There were multiple patrons going behind the bar and 'helping themselves'... After I requested a refill for myself and guests, we then went out to the back patio. Nice little area but poorly maintained. Once we came back inside we noticed said bartender was becoming slightly w were realtives of the bartender, behind the bar, demanding her attention causing almost all other customers to leave. Around midnight, my friends and I decided on one more drink before we called it a night, I kwent to order 3 drinks and no bartender. She was out front yelling and carrying on without noticing she had paying guests waiting for her. After 20 more minutes she finally offered a round of drinks on her for waiting... She then reached for a bottle of crown and dropped it on the floor!! She laughed and took another 10 minutes to pour our drinks. She was clearly intoxicated and bluntly awful at her profession. Complete disregard for the business, its PAYING customers... As I sat there in disbelief, a 'regular' must of noticed I was a little irritated. This guest explained to me, ' this is a family bar, if your not family, you dont matter'... Needless to say, until this bar gets there shit together and hires a sober, educated bartender... We will not be back. Total waste of what could be a great hole in the wall.. For now, it's in the hands of a drunk, unaware of her surroundings, hot mess!
