I've been to Libby's a couple times now and the style and how it's decorated inside is so fun! Service has always been fast and friendly and there's so many different options to choose from! Everything we've gotten has been delicious and I highly recommend!

Who doesn't love Libby's?! I buy gift cards for family in the area anytime I'm there because I know it's a stop they'll make. They serve Sundae's ice cream (best ice cream in Indiana!), they have a play area for the you get kids (which is amazing!) and have so many cute gifts if you need to grab something quickly. Their servings are pretty big so keep that in mind :)

Libby's is such a cute ice cream shop in Fortville! They have all the classic flavors but also fun and different ones. I loved the mint chocolate chip. My fiancé got the strawberry banana and it was amazing. Really spacious inside with lots of seating!

Love this place! Always different flavors! Always lots of room to sit down and games to play for kids. The price isn't too high but it's not the cheapest either. Sometimes the kids don't scoop as much as other kids which has me feeling like I didn't get my money worth. Or a few times I've gotten a double scoop to get lots of one but a half scoop of the second. Always get enough that my stomach is upset with me tho.

As we were walking in downtown Fortsville, I scoped out this gem for its gifts. My husband noticed that the word "ice cream" appeared in the name, so he followed without hesitation. I browsed the gifts, but found the inventory to be limited and a bit overpriced. So what ended up as a shopping stop, turned into a sweet tooth treat. We shared a double scoop of strawberry and chocolate ice cream. My favorite was the strawberry. I loved how you could taste the texture of the strawberries in the ice cream! If it wasn't homemade, it was darn near close to it. There was a play area for the kids and I even noticed some photo props... both are nice touches to any ice cream parlor. Speaking of which, I read that they used to only be a gift shop, but later opened the parlor part of the business. All of these mentions indicates smart management/ownership. Kudos to them for thriving in a world with far too few ice cream parlors.

After lunch at Taxman, I decided I wanted to try some ice cream down the street at Libby's. For those who aren't from here, the giant ice cream shop across the street (Indulge) went out of business leaving a need for an ice cream shop in Fortville. Being good business owners and neighbors, the owners of Libby's across the street thought that it was an opportunity to serve the community with ice cream at their shop. So, they converted their home decor and gift shop to include ice cream from Sundae's and rename their business to let visitors know they could still get high quality ice cream in downtown. What originally attracted me to this spot was one of the reviews that mentioned ice cream flights! Four flavors for one price. Sounds really good! But when I walked in, the place was decorated for Halloween and they had two special milkshakes featured. When I saw "Eye of Toad", I knew I had to go for it! The milkshake is a mint chocolate based beverage but uses red dye mixture to look like blood dripping down the inside of the glass, then topped with whipped cream and a blood shot eye (made from gummy bear ingredients.) Yes, I did make sure it was edible before trying it. And I was very pleased with the taste. Note that because of the red dye, your mouth will become bright red, so I would suggest not going to a meeting or having your photo taken right after consumption! While waiting, I browsed around the gift shop/home decor though I will admit I didn't go into the northern part of the shop which also sells cigars. Seemed like they had some neat wall decor, candles, and small items like games/toys too.Overall, if you are in the area, stop in for an ice cream flight, or one of their seasonal drinks. You won't be disappointed!Review #3212

Love stopping in for ice cream with the kids. They post their flavors on the window. Easy to have just one run in and order. Great service and tasty flavors. My favorite is the graham cracker central or chocolate raspberry truffle. Staff is always courteous.

Get the ice cream flight! It's great to share. You get four little glass cups of any of the ice cream flavors. I shared with with a friend after dinner and we still couldn't finish it all. It comes with little dollops of whipped cream and pieces of waffle cone too. I got the pumpkin pie and mint chocolate chip. Both were delicious.
