You can see two streams of water coming in from the ceiling.
Water entering through an electrical switch.

I've been here for 6 months and have not had any major problems. Workout facility is nice. The maintenance staff is efficient and speedy with repairs. Everyone in the front office treats us well and promptly resolves any issues.

just a heads up if you're interested in a walk-through: call ahead & make an appointment, rather than walking in. maybe then you'll be treated with a little more politeness. my fiancé & i stopped in on a friday afternoon (well before the office closed) & were immediately asked if we had an appointment. we explained that we did not, we just simply wondered if there were any units available for rent. we were ushered to a table to fill out an info card & were told that someone would be with us shortly. a few moments later, a new woman approached us & asked us to explain what we were looking for. we only had two requirements: rent at a certain price or below, & a certain move-in date. we had no preference on amount of bedrooms/bathrooms, didn't necessarily need a washer/dryer, & didn't need a garage. she took our requests & stated she'd check the computer & be back with us. a few minutes later, another office worker entered the office & went to speak to our lady. quite a conversation ensued, which involved our lady angrily gesturing to us several times (while also making eye contact with me...awkward). over 15 minutes later, she finally rejoined us with one unit available to see. clearly she was in a hurry, as she sped ahead of us in her car. once we walked into the unit, she didn't even bother to "sell" the place or point out features, she just stood at the door while we walked around. we felt it was a beautiful space, but that the bedroom size wouldn't work. we expressed this to her & she explained that there would be a new unit available a few weeks later with a significantly larger square footage AND cheaper price. of course, we jumped on this & asked what we could do to get it locked down. she stated that she would email us pictures of the unit (my email was listed on the info card that i initially filled out) & then we could begin the application process. once we left the building, she hopped into her car & once again, quickly sped away. i briefly got lost just trying to find the office, as she left us in the dust. she had just made it into the office by the time we pulled up, & she met us with our id's & a promise to email me. think i ever got that email? nope. never heard a word back. fine by me though, not interested in living in a community that's run by snobs.

My daughter has been, overall, very happy living here. She had lived here 7-8 years and even upgraded from a 2 bedroom to a 3 bedroom. It is a beautiful area. I think they do a great job keeping the surroundings clean and updating landscaping. I visit often and find it to be very peaceful.Just a few things, though- I think they have a lot of turnover with their maintenance. I'm not for certain but I also think they hire in outside help, which I feel is a positive. I don't think the individuals they hire to refurbish the apartments, when someone moves out, really know what they are doing. They definitely are not professional painters by a long shot. They painted her shower and tub with latex paint (who does that?) and it peeled off immediately after she moved in. That said, they have always fixed any issues my daughter has had I don't think they are any better or worse than apartments in the area in this price range. I think they need to do more to educate their tenants. I noticed that someone added charcoal to the grill this past weekend then left the gas on all night. They also supplied brand new grill accessories but the brush to clean the grill is already ruined because someone used it on the grill while grates were still hot and it melted the bristles. Also, someone added charcoal to the grill. This grill is not compatible for charcoal. The umbrellas they added to the pool area are very nice but staff do not close them down at night so eventually, unless they put up a sign to ask tenants to close when they leave, these umbrellas are going to tear or blow away just like the last ones they had up when storms and strong wind came through. They have done a nice job updating the pool furniture, umbrella's, and grill, all brand new this year. Hopefully, they'll take measures to keep them that way. I also wish these apartments were better insulated. The furnace/air seem to work overtime to keep apartment cooled or heated.

I have lived here for the past year and genuinely liked it until I needed maintenance help. My dryer has been on and off working for the last month, and the first time I put a maintenance request in, they told me appliance warehouse deals with the dryer issues. Fine. They told me someone from appliance warehouse would be out to fix my dryer on friday....no one came. I had to wait until the next monday to get someone to answer the phone at the office (even though they are open on saturday). Someone finally answered the phone and told me they attempted to come on the friday, but someone in the residence denied entry (not true). So she said she would have them come out the next day and that maybe they went to the wrong apartment. Not sure how that happens, but okay I let it slide. The dryer gets "repaired" and the man from appliance warehouse told me the maintenance team needs to clear the duct. They "apparently" did that, (they never came into my apartment I was told they did this from the outside) and then a couple days later the dryer stopped working again. This has now been most of the month of June I am dealing with a non functioning dryer and the office refuses to answer their phone. They will only reply through text. I texted them to try and meet them halfway and submitted a new maintenance request for my dryer and they "completed" the maintenance request without actually coming to my apartment, contacting me, or fixing the dryer. So here I am without a working dryer and still paying a monthly fee for it! I'm sure the maintenance men are good at their job, but the office staff is not willing to even answer the phone to fix issues. Good luck if you live here.

Legacy Town and Flats Apt s aren't worth the money. The office staff is horrible and do nothing for the residents. They only correspond via email or text. They don't want you coming to the office for anything to talk in person. They are LAZY, UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE. The only thing this place has going for it is nice landscaping and awesome maintenance team. There are far better places to live than here.

Do not waste your money renting at Legacy Town and Flats! I pay more than $900 a month and any time it rains, my ceiling leaks in at least 10 places. Two of the spots have a constant stream of water and water also comes in from the electrical light switch. The office is DIRECTLY below my apartment and they still do not return my calls or have a technician come look at the leak. The time I was able to talk to them, they said it would be fixed multiple times but have never followed through. This has been going on for 8 months.

I've been here 2 years next week and from the very beginning I've had a wonderful experience. The office staff was compassionate as it was not under exciting circumstances I was looking for a new place, they worked well with my time needs and I was able to see the exact unit the first time I visited. I have a beautiful unit overlooking a nature preserve!I feel safe with the indoor stairs and attached garage. Any maintenance needs have been very quickly attended to and they even replaced a washing machine within a few days when it was apparent it couldn't be fixed. During the summer the pool was refreshing and many times there were visits from the office staff with ice cream and popsicles - yes even during covid. I would highly recommend Legacy!

Quiet safe neighborhood, friendly neighbors, at least all i have met, it has been nice and affordable to live here. I have lived here for 4 years and always liked the people and location. The maintenance staff is great and the property stays clean. Mainly, I am dismayed that my rent has increased over $300 in the last 4 years. I pay $1300 a month for a 2 bedroom, 2 bath 1000sq foot apt. That doesn't include additional fees for a garage, pet, trash, water, sewage, etc... In exchange for that increase, we now get to wake up to construction noise on 146th street and increased traffic. My electricity bill is $200 per month for a bottom floor apt, and that is about what my neighbors pay, too. That electric bill is double what we used to pay at a 3-story townhome in Carmel and double what my friends are paying for bigger places at Bridgewater. I think they forgot the insulation.

DO NOT MOVE HERE ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE PETS!!!! When we moved in we were told we had to pay $250 pet fee and $20 a month pet rent. ok well when we moved out our new puppy had tore a piece of the carpet and they charged us to replace the entire apartment with new carpet, and then told us that we owe them almost $400 because of that. So I said well isn't the $250 that we paid at move in applied to that, and they then, NOT AT MOVE IN, told us that the $250 and the $20 a month is just a fee not a deposit!!! So basically we paid them $500 just to have a pet in the apartment. That to me seems extremely unfair and unethical. The maintenance there is also terrible. I had a window leaking and leaving puddles in my carpet, I called almost every day for 2 weeks before they sent someone to look at the window. The construction is poor. We a one bedroom apartment on the third floor, and the entire winter our thermostat was set at 65 degrees and we continuously had a $260 electric bill. The only thing that they said was that because our apartment faced the West. This place is a waste of money. And they were going to raise our rent $100 to resign our lease
