The staff is always friendly. We love going for breakfast! We were also pleased with their dinner options.

Wow. This is one local spot not to be missed. Mom and I split the broasted chicken plate and a cheeseburger, both with sides . Both were served hot, juicy, and delicious. Plates were huge and we took almost 1/2 the food home. Service was great and place looked very clean and the prices were more than reasonable. Will definitely go here again next time I am in town. The menu is huge, looks like a really good place for breakfast too. Also open 7 days a week which is rare for this area.

We love trying new places and this one did not disappoint. Tremendous flavor in the 5-egg Greek omelette breakfast I had. Pancakes and omelettes had a similar theme; Light & Fluffy. Others at our table seemed to have similar thoughts on their choices. Hometown restaurant feel that the locals seem to flock to, which is always a good sign. Our waitress was good and kept our coffee and drinks full. The other staff was pleasant and helped each other, which I've always noticed as a positive sign for any restaurant. If you're in the area, I think you'll enjoy this.

I was back in Northern Indiana for a couple of days and I was hungry for a pork tenderloin sandwich. I met some old grade school friends who suggested the Lakes Grill Restaurant just North of Silver Lake, Indiana. Their tenderloin sandwich was the special of the day and it was absolutely FANTASTIC! It was huge, tasted great and met all the Indiana standards for a fried pork tenderloin sandwich. It hung over the bun 3-4 inches on each side! Plus it came with your choice of side (I had fries) AND a delicious homemade chicken noodle soup. This is a great little restaurant out in the middle of Indiana cornfields. If you can get there, Go! I was surprised to see no review for this place on Yelp, so I thought I would add a review and a picture of my sandwich!

We happen to be traveling by this restaurant and decided to stop because of the good reviews. In my opinion, do restaurants live up to the good reviews, but this one did not disappoint. There were three of us who stopped for breakfast. The portions are huge, the food excellent, the prices reasonable, and the service is good.We enjoyed our stop so much the previous week that we decided to stop for dinner the next time we passed through. Again, everything was excellent. I had fried all-you-can eat fish and again, everything was excellent.We will be returning again because this is a great restaurant for the price and food.

Cute little restaurant in the silver lake area! I am from out of town and staying with my granny at her little lake place and she loves this place! This is now under new management and is improved from the previous owner. The frittatas are very good (way too much cheese for me though- should have asked for light cheese) and the house coffee is great! Granny loved her biscuits and gravy and she also loves to order the fruit plate- we saw one come out and it was so beautiful! The waiter was very attentive and jolly. I would recommend this place to anyone coming through the area.
