I stayed at this hotel at the beginning of June for 3 nights. The location was nice as it is just on the edge of the main downtown area and easily walkable to many locations. But the rooms are rundown and the hotel doesn't seem to be very well maintained. The room we were in had sheets that were too small for the king size bed, rust in the tub, outlet in the bathroom didn't work, shower head was loose in the wall so it moved if you tried to adjust it, the room phone was broken and the biggest problem was that the air conditioner made a high pitch noise. My wife had earplugs and she or I could still not sleep do to the noise. The next day I let the front desk know about the issues and was told they would fix them while we were out. I called to check to make sure they did and was assured they had been fixed. When we got back nothing had been fixed. I let the front desk know and they told me I could move to another room. The room they tried to move us to had the same issue with the ac so we just stayed. They told me there was nothing else they could do but that the manager would give me a call. She never called me. They did move us to another room the last night we were there and the ac was quite in that room but there was a hole through the wall to the outside by the ac, the sheets still didn't fit, there was still rust in the tub and the shower head was still loose. Also while we were there someone left muddy footprints through the lobby on our second day and they were still there when we left and one of the elevators was out of service during our entire stay, which tells you how little maintenance is done in the hotel.I have also let Wyndham Customer Service know about the issues I had and they have reached out to the hotel to contact me. Wyndham has told me that the hotel has also not acknowledged the messages from Wyndham and the hotel has not reached out to me. I have emailed and called the hotel myself and nobody responses to me. I expect better when you are paying over $200 a night.

Beware! I was a victim of credit card fraud number theft at this location. No more to say. Besides it being a dump my card was charged three weeks after staying there at multiple online liquor stores in Indy. When we checked in the computers were down and subsequently we gave our info. My gut told me this was off. Anyway protect yourself.

I haven't stayed in a La Quinta in years, but I plan to seek them out if they're consistently this great. We were in town for some medical appointments, and the staff was quick, friendly, and incredibly empathetic to our needs.First, the location, This hotel is in downtown Indianapolis, so traffic can be pretty nuts. Fortunately, it is in easy walking distance of several restaurants, and in walking distance of all of downtown if the weather is right and you're willing to hoof it a little. The staff got us into our room very quickly and easily, which was something we were a little worried about at first. I wasn't the one checking into the room, but I'd added my fiance's name the day before. Some places I've stayed previously have had trouble with that, but there was none of that here.The room itself was clean and comfortable, and came with everything you'd expect from a hotel. The fridge kept our leftovers cold, and the in room coffee was tasty. We didn't use the microwave, but I've got no reason to believe that wouldn't have been fine also. The next morning, I was particularly impressed with the spread available for breakfast. So many times on the road I'm forced to grab a stale bagel and some apple juice, but La Quinta really swung for the fences.One of the signs of a great hotel for me isn't that everything works, it's how quickly they resolve unexpected issues that come up. In the morning we found out that our shower water pressure was pretty low, making it difficult at best to take a shower. We called down to the front desk, and they immediately put us in a new room just two doors down. There was no arguing, we didn't have to awkwardly switch floors, just a quick hop down the hall. I really appreciated how quickly and efficiently they handled the issue.Thanks again, I'll definitely be back!

I booked a room for a conference 9 months in advance. The hotel contacted me 3 weeks before my event and Cancelled! Stating they were overbooked. The manager was not in everyday I called and then just sent me an email restating the cancellation. Every other hotel was booked or $500 a night. Wyndham corporate customer service was appalling. I could book another room far away from my event for more money. Unethical business practices. Zero stars.

So we came in yesterday for the Stevie Nicks concert and let me say this place was busy the front desk guy John was great he held my keys for me he breezed through the long line he was by himself. We usually stay at the Hyatt this hotel doesn't charge for parking. When we checked in the AC wasn't working John was quick to get us moved he was upbeat cheery just fantastic. We will be booking here for the colts season coming up you definitely get a great deal here and the rooms are updated. I run a prestigious dept store if I was local I would have tried to steal this employee. Breakfast was great as well

DO NOT STAY HERE. I booked my room with this hotel TEN MONTHS AGO, well in advance of a special event going on two weeks from now. I found out by email a few of days ago that this hotel cancelled my reservation - without giving me any reason. The cancellation email implies the room was canceled at MY request. THIS IS UNTRUE. I've spoken twice to the desk person, Marcy. On June 26 she stated that "Booking.com canceled it." This is false. I have spoken to Booking customer service multiple times. As far as they are concerned, my reservation at this hotel is STILL CONFIRMED. I spoke again with this Marcy person today, July 1, and she stated that she didn't know why the room was canceled and that she would pass my inquiry on to her manager - who is once again "out of the office."Multiple requests to speak to the manager of this property via phone and email by both me AND by Booking.com have gone unanswered.It is BAD BUSINESS that hotels triple/quadruple their room rates when there is a special event in town. But to cancel someone's reservation without warning - a reservation that was made many months ago - just so they can charge another customer a MUCH higher room rate is absolutely SLEAZY. Unfortunately, they canceled my reservation with so little time to find another room in the city, and now most decently priced rooms have been booked. This is a major inconvenience for me and my family.SAY NO TO CORPORATE GREED. Avoid this property like the plague!

we arrived to the overwhelming smell of air freshener. then was told the elevator was not working. i was not told about the elevator until after we had checked in. air conditioner on this hot evening worked intermittently at best. than breakfast the next morning: no coffee, no eggs, worst breakfast ever. i tried to contact the manager on three different occasions and did not receive an email or phone call. I gave it one star because that was as low as I could rate it.

exceeded our expectations! very clean, well appointed, and spacious room! we had a fridge and microwave in our room and full-sized toiletries in the bathroom. we would really like to thank Amanda for granting us early check-in to help us out.
