Service great. Ordered a beef burrito and opened it up to add sour cream. Had a huge branch like vain from the animal. I have had trouble eating authentic Mexican after this. They did try to make it right. But gag reflex already kicked in.

Atmosphere is modern and pleasant. A few others have commented about their salsa. It is indeed just about perfect and what you would expect. Chips were great as well.I got the Speedy Gonzalez special, with steak in the enchilada and chicken in the taco. Both were excellent. The service seemed like a team/coordinated effort between all of the staff. Everyone was cordial and helpful. Great overall experience. I am from out of town, but when I come to Marion, this is where I'll have lunch from now on.

It's a tale as old as time: I order a burrito anywhere in the Midwest, and I receive a plate of rice and beans with a tortilla folded on top. La Charreada did one better and smothered it with red sauce. Ok, fine. I've come to terms that "burrito" means something different to Midwestern restaurants than it does to me and ... the rest of the country that isn't the Midwest? It's my bad for ordering a burrito, anyway. I should know better by now, right? What am I, a masochist?What really put our experience over the edge was when some woman, who worked here but wasn't our hostess or server or anyone we had interacted with previously, leaned over my husband's plate, stuck her face over it and SMELLED HIS FOOD! What in the? Why would anyone think it's a good idea to smell a stranger's anything, let alone the food they are eating. We were both in shock as she smelled and confirmed that it smelled good. Ok, thanks? Now can you get your face out of our food?So that was the probably the strangest part of the meal, and we just ate quickly so we could get the heck out of there. If you'd like to know, I got the enchiladas, and they were fine but room temperature. The random lady didn't smell my plate of food so I couldn't confirm with her about what it smelled like, but to me it smelled like Midwestern Mexican food, which it was.They give you unlimited chips and salsa though, which is nice, and we needed them because it took a long time for our food to get to our table. This place was super busy when we visited (lunchtime on the weekend). It seems to be a hot ticket in Marion.

Went there recently and sat waiting to be seated(we were the only customers waiting)and numerous employees walked by and just looked at us. Never did have anyone acknowledge us so after ten minutes we just left...Very poor customer service!

New to the area and this place was recommended. The food is pretty much your average Americanized Mexican food, just slightly better. Service was great except they gave me queso, which I didn't ordered but figured I might have misspoke and they thought I said yes. Still happily enjoyed it :)I haven't had a chance to check out any of the other places yet but so far this place will be a go to.

The food is excellent and the salsa is some of the best I've ever had. If you are picky about salsa like I am, you probably know that some days your favorite Mexican restaurant's salsa is not your version of perfect. But when that salsa is on point. MMM! The staff here are always gracious and kind. Every once in awhile they blunder my order. And sometimes they are short staffed. But this has been one of my absolute favorite Mexican restaurants for years. The owner and his family will treat you like family.My favorite meals/appetizers here are as follows: Chicken Chimichanga (yes it's topped with white queso.. I hear they don't do that out west) the shredded chicken in this does have some slight cooked veggies... So if you're not a fan or allergic, know that anything here with shredded chicken is cooked with a blend of what I believe to be tomatoes, bell peppers, and onions cooked down to very soft small pieces. Meal comes with beans, rice, lettuce, pico de gallo, and sour cream I also love the mushroom Quesadillas: they are big enough to share as an appetizer or eat for yourself as a small meal. They come loaded with seasoned buttery mushrooms and smothered in melted white cheese, grilled to perfectionIf you like variety and fajitas, my favorite is the Fajitas Chihuahua. They come with a mix of steak strips, chicken strips, bacon, and shrimp, classic fajita veggies (bell peppers and onions) and white queso drizzled on top. If you get the double order of this, they may serve you the queso on the side instead of on the meat and veggies (sometimes I ask to add mushrooms to this... Because life is too short)Pollo Tapatio is another favorite - chicken breast pounded flat and grilled, topped with bacon, mushrooms. It is also topped with white queso. (I sometimes ask for this with grilled bell peppers, onions, and chorizo added) Meal comes with beans, rice, lettuce, pico de gallo, and sour cream Enchiladas Yolanda's- If you're craving something extra cheesy! Cheese enchiladas over rice topped with pieces of seasoned grilled chicken and cheese quesoChoriPollo or classic Arroz Con PolloChoriPollo is chorizo (Mexican sausage) and chicken served with rice and white quesoArroz Con Pollo- chicken served with rice and white quesoDinner size chicken fajita salad is pretty scrumptious. The mini doesn't taste the same. Tossed salad here is a favorite for me because it comes with a slice of tomato, sometimes slices of fresh bell peppers and onions, and shredded cheese. I top it with salsa instead of dressing. Pro tip- use your big chip like a scoop
