Kung Fu Cafe

This is the best Chinese place in Anderson. I only gave it 4 stars because I would like more variety.

Limited options tonight. Several chicken dishes, one beef (with broccoli), and one shrimp dish. The side dish was fried rice or mixed vegetables, which looked heavy on the broccoli. Since I like most veggies that was going to be my side dish (broccoli is one I don't like much), so beef and broccoli wasn't a good choice. The chicken options were bourbon chicken (tough to chew, didn't finish it), General Tso (pretty mild) and sesame chicken. They all tasted much the same. The veggies turned out to be broccoli on top with a variety of smaller veggies underneath-- a pleasant surprise! The veggies were my favorite part of the order. We have tried Kung Fu Cafe before and been much happier, so we will probably visit again in a couple of months. Everything was clean. The young ladies working were very helpful and friendly. Amount of food was very generous. $25 for two dinners with two egg rolls. It would have more than enough left over to have dinner again tomorrow night if we were keeping the bourbon chicken. Even without the bourbon chicken I think we have another whole meal for two in the fridge.

This is definitely our new favorite Chinese food spot! Stopped in and was surprised by how clean it was inside! Ordered the generals chicken and black pepper chicken combos. Both were freshly made and delicious! Hot with a crispy exterior without overcooking the meat. The fried rice was also simple and exactly what I expect from good Chinese food restaurants. We also ordered the crab Rangoon and the sugar biscuits for dessert. The crab Rangoon is the best I've had locally. We will go back again and again.

It been awhile. THe dishes are okay if you can figure out their Menu. Be aware that the "add in's " like spring rolls and egg roles really up the price and you get hit with a higher bill than expected. Again, the food is okay, just pay attention to the entrees vs additions.

Honestly not very impressed. I don't like to go to a restaurant that makes me feel like I have to hurry and get out. Never offered a menu, the chicken was tough if it was chicken? Decor was ok I guess I just expect more from a restaurant. Like kindness and a welcoming environment and this is not that. If you want to be rushed to order and through a meal, get mediocre food then this will be the place for you. I don't know what the issue in Anderson is with Chinese food but they are missing the mark at a lot of their Chinese restaurants and this one is now added to the list. I may have thought about another try but given the environment is not welcoming I'll take a hard pass.

The freshest Chinese in town . Large portions for a great price . Highly recommended . Great place to take the family and try new dishes . We try and eat there as often as possible .

Kung Fu Cafe is the place to go if you are craving Chinese food. General Tso's and Black Pepper Chicken is really good. You get a lot of food for the money.

Miles ahead of every Chinese place in Anderson and Muncie. Clean enough to eat inside, food prepared nicely, quick service

New owners, food not as good, sadly. Used to really like their dishes. Chicken is pretty tough in the General Chicken dish
