Krispy Kreme Doughnuts

Stopped in here on solar eclipse day for their special doughnut. They were making them fresh as they had sold out earlier in the day. The line was fairly long however they were moving you thru decently fast. The regular doughnuts were good but would have been better had they been hot and fresh right off the line. The eclipse ones were way too sweet and too much chocolate on top. The Oreo on top was crunchy which is a plus. Overall decent experience will be back on day when we can hopefully get hot fresh doughnuts.

Went though the drive through today. Ordered the #5 which is gallon of coffee, 2 dozen donuts. The coffee was lukewarm and tasted like coffee from the hotel room. There was absolutely no sugar in the condiment box, just artificial sweeteners. Second time through this place, with cold coffee.

It's nice to have a Krispy Kreme bakery back in town! I came in during the promotion for the specialty donuts during the Olympics. I got the raspberry and vanilla and the crème brûlée flavors. They need to make the crème brûlée flavor a regular on the menu!! It was different and actually delicious!! The service was quick but i wouldn't say it was energetically friendly.

How can you not love doughnuts? Okay, that's a trick question because I love them way too much. When I moved to Carmel several years ago I was severely disappointed to find out that a place with ALLLLLLL the food places didn't have a Krispy Kreme. So believe me, I was thrilled they came back a few years ago... like, counting down the days thrilled. I do love/hate the location. I get that the Castleton Mall area is convenient as far as being right off the interstate and being on the way downtown, etc. but Castleton Mall has also had so much violence/incidents lately that I've sadly avoided for a while. Thankfully the Krispy Kreme is outside the mall, with its own parking lot and drive-through, etc. but it's also a bit convoluted and tons of potholes around, since the mall parking lot is not kept up well. Regardless, I visit way more than I should because... well... hot doughnuts. The service runs cold/hot, just depends on the day. But I've generally found them to be nice. They do run out of my favorites a lot if you don't get there first thing. And the doughnuts have DEFINITELY shrunk a bit. I ironically know this for a fact because my son had measured doughnuts for a silly school project a year ago that I'd posted on Facebook. We picked up doughnuts this week and he commented how much smaller they were nowadays so we went home and measured while I found the old FB post. They'd shrunk by not quite an inch but it's rather obvious. Still good though, can't take that away. But just a bit sneaky and sad... Overall, I grew up on Krispy Kreme and will most likely die with a dozen by my side. :)

We walk into the Krispy Kreme and we're greeted with a free doughnut. The staff were really nice. The inside was relatively clean in the food tasted good.

While in the area and wanting a sweet treat- my husband and I stopped by Krispy Kreme. I grew up with a Krispy Kreme by my grandparents house and was so sad when they shut down in Indiana. So when I saw this one I was happy to see them back again. We ordered two glazed donuts and two chocolate donuts. My husband liked the glazed donuts and I enjoyed the chocolate. I didn't care for the glazed too much but it was alright. The staff member also gave us some water cups as well.

Best donuts on the planet, the service is outstanding. I just wish they were more freestanding Krispy Kreme locations.

the store closes at 9pm not 10pm but the doughn are great and so is the service. the hot light hours are 7am-9am and again from 5pm-7pm if you get a survey when you buy a dozen doughnuts you get a glaze dozen for free #Winning

Freshly made doughnuts are by far the best and you can get them here still hot when just made if the hot donuts sign is lit up! Fresh hot glazed donuts are my weakness!
