I wanted "good" steaks for my sons birthday. They had fresh and frozen ribeyes to select from. The fresh case is only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday, the others days frozen meat is always available. They blend their own products so they are truly unique. They have pork, venison and beef products. The freezer was filled with Brats, beef sticks and jerky. I tried out the jalapeño cheddar brats. The lady behind the counter, helped me select 7 fresh Ribeyes that were rarely uniform in size so they would all grill similar times on Blackstone grill. What do you call a female butcher? Butress? I digress.Awesome local business and you KNOW this is quality and where is came from.

We took four does up to the locker and the deer we took up there were very large deer and we only got half a box back of sausage and only one box of hamburger made from the whole deer , The sausage and supposed burger was not labeled you have no idea what your cooking or if it is even your own deer you killed when you buy summer sausage it is put into a large vat of other peoples deer so you are not getting your deer back and the prices are outrageous in my Opinion it makes me wonder if I'm getting all my deer meat back or they are using my meat for other peoples orders :( very dissatisfied with this place and we've been coming here for years sorry to say we will not be anymore

By far the cleanest meat market I have ever been to. The Meat Locker in Knightstown has the nicest, most patient people behind the counters. They are so friendly and informative and seem to really love the people and the product they are selling. They have great prices and super fresh products. They even have fresh treats for dogs.

Throughout the years I've had the opportunity to live in every state in the east cost, got to visit Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, California, and many other states. NEVER, have a seen a nicer butcher shop than Knightstown Locker. I'll start off by saying this place is spotless. Not a grain on dirt on the floor, not a single finger print on the door, just simply immaculate! The location is perfect. In the middle of the country, with plenty of organic farms, cattle, and horses. Everything here is sourced from the owners own farm, with the exception of the cheese; that comes from Wisconsin. The meat selection is endless (beef,venison, buffalo, fish, and even raw k-9 diets packaged in 1lb shrubs). The owner is friendly, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable. This place is so amazing, that it made me wish that I lived locally, so I could visit everyday! Stop by, you will not regret it. This is the standard of what a every butcher shop should be like!

Do not go by their price list on their website!!! Prices have significantly increased! They weren't willing to negotiate at all. We will not be back! They need to update their website!

Some of the best meat I have ever had. I buy all of my meat from this place. The staff are kind and the owner is a hoot.
