We were in town for a bowling tournament. Looked for breakfast spots and found this one. When we got there they were packed but it moved quickly. We had to wait a minute because there was five of us.We were seated and they waited on us right away. Everyone was so nice. Food came out quick and everything was great!!No wonder this is a hot spot!! Everything had great flavor and the portions were big. Definitely get your moneys worth. If we are ever in town again we will be back!!

It's a mom & pop diner for sure. I had breakfast. The #1. 2 eggs, potato's, meat (I had ham) and toast. Coffee& water. I did add onions to m my potatoes. 75 cent up charge. Total bill $11.70 + tip. It was worth it. Atmosphere was most enjoyable for me. I highly recommend Klemm's Kafe on 1429 N Wells st.

Love this place! Not a ton of parking or seating, but worth it. Great service! You know this place is legit because it seems like a place with many repeat customers. The garbage plate is one of the main dishes. Basically, it's a skillet with potatoes, eggs, tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms, and sausage.... All covered in gravy. Very filling, but great for a cold day.

Cool, old school, diner atmosphere. Very limited seating so be warned on that note. Ordered the garbage plate with gravy on the side. Good but nothing to write home about. Ordered the raisin toast grilled not toasted... it was solid.

Solid breakfast place! We were in the city for a wedding and I yelped breakfast on Saturday morning. Ended up here. Parking was a little tight, but it definitely had character. The place was hopping. Standard breakfast fare. If I lived in Fort Wayne I'd definitely go back. If you're in town, give it a try. It is not fancy at all, but good breakfast!

Klemm's Kate is always very busy. Sometimes it's hard to find a table. Server is busy, I mean super busy. The atmosphere gives me anxiety with how crowded it is in the restaurant. Good food. Great service.

Classic diner feel with extremely nice staff. My husband and I stopped to eat here for a quick breakfast, we sat down and got our order going, the wait was less than 10 minutes. It was packed in here for sure but that's what you get for good classic breakfasts. Even though we sat at the "worst table in the house", I had a good experience all around. We will be back!

Sometimes a little whole in the wall is the best thing. Breakfast before a photo shoot at Ball Mansion. Service was good. Place was super busy. Eggs cooked just the way I like over med no runny yolk. Bacon was great. Potatoes were just ok.
