King Gyros

This is absolutely my go to place for a gyro. There was a time this year that I was going here at least once a week. They have a very large menu with everything from the famous gyro to catfish dinners. Everything I have ever gotten here is priced well and extremely tasty. The service is not perfect but efficient and the restaurant is basically fast food, but well worth a visit.

Horrible food quality! I ordered a Philly steak and it barely had any meat, no lettuce or onions it was sad and cost too much. The fries tasted like cold potatoes

4.29.24 @1:30 pm - walked in and ordered a small gyro salad from king gyros for $8+. The small salad was very large with lots of gyro meat. The salad itself was fresh and crisp with iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, black olives, feta cheese, cucumber, yellow peppers all tossed in a delicious vinaigrette dressing. The cashier was nice. The atmosphere seemed pleasant enough. I ordered to-go.

I have been wanting to try this for a while now and unfortunately I wasn't very impressed. I was expecting a mom and pop type place with fresh food and it was essentially the same quality as stadium food you'd get at a football game. The menu was quite extensive though, so I plan to give it a second try and hoping the other items I try are better. Also, there is a drive through but it took quite a while to get through it.

In my opinion...best gyro in Indianapolis, no debate.The inside is dated, but there is plenty of seating.Service is always pleasant.My suggestions: when ordering a gyro combo, get an extra sauce (tzatziki that is). If you order a gyro salad, order an extra sauce. Needless to say...the sauce is goodT. I put it on everything.

This is basically the McDonald's of Greek food, but some how the prices are high for the low quality of food. Gyro meat was pretty bad, reminds me of Mediterranean baloney. Service was fine until they left out the fries in my order... no big deal mistakes happen, but when I called and let them know they told me I was mistaken and argued about $4 worth of fries on a $50 meal. They told me "I guess you can come get the fries if you want to". So I did. When I arrived at the store I was meet with more scrutiny about my honesty over the fries. Kinda annoying to have your integrity questioned by teenagers over fries. I wouldn't recommend this place but if you do go here check you order before pulling off.

You guys never fail me! That gyro, that falafel -- you can never go wrong with. They're always PACKED with ingredients.And that chicken over rice? What is the crack you put in this?? I need to know because it's so good that I ignore my GERD and eat this.

They have significantly cut down on portion sizes while upping the prices. These so called chicken tenders are the size of nuggets at places. I could get more chicken in a 10 piece nugget at McDonald's for lesser money than getting 5 extra small tenders. The fries are extra soggy. I have went here my whole life and honestly I'm so disappointed and will not be back.

while the meat is good, they've completely watered down their drinks and their ranch had no flavor. if I order a ding, I don't want it to taste like water. the entire car had different drinks (orange, Dr Pepper, and Pepsi) and none of them had any flavor.
