I apologize for not taking pics but when our food was placed on the table, what a delight! The service is excellent and locals know the waitstaff and are very friendly. I got corn beef hash! It's amazing! Completely made in house and is fantastic! My eggs were perfect and the sausage gravy, made in house and is amazing! The cinnamon apples were sweet and palate cleansing and my coffee cup never ran dry. The diner is dated, cozy, and it's loud with happy chatter amongst patrons; many who were greeting each other from tables and quickly breaking into "It's so nice to run into you." I loved this place as it reminds me of the rural country kitchens that I loved as a child and young adult.Come check out this local gem!

The cinnamon pancake is to die for. Sunday mornings are slammed, so be prepared for some waiting. But the food is fantastic. The dining area is pretty typical found object diner. We will go back for sure.

OMG, why haven't I tried this little diner before? Honestly! I stopped in this morning and was greeted with happy faces and the smell of fresh coffee. Went simple with the pancake breakfast, and oh my! The grits were spot-on perfect. The eggs were to order, and the pancakes ... THE PANCAKES ... the sweet crème they roll with are something special! They were crisp, sweet, and hearty! Was thoroughly impressed, so give them a shot if you're in the area!

Perfect eggs over medium, double on the bacon, and toasted-just-right English muffins. Together with a great cup o' joe and easily accessible in my broken-ankle-boot-in-walker status. Added bonus: Johnny-on-the-spot server with hot coffee refills. Great diner!

Pretty, pretty, pretty good breakfast place. With a very unassuming and unpretentious on both the inside and the outside, with very hard-working staff, we still had a very solid experience. We were impressed with the variety of choices that the menu offered, we had a really hard time choosing our meals. Shoutout to the people I was with who agreed to quasi share all our meals. I really liked the corned beef hash I got, and the Bill's Breakfast my friend (not named Bill) got. My husband got the chicken and waffles with the h it honey upgrade. This was the weakest of the dishes, and the honey was just mixed with hot sauce. We still ate and enjoyed it though.Overall, this was a surprisingly good experience. My not-named-Bill friend is a local and said he may have found a new place to be a regular at. Give them a try!

This is a great, down home soul food spot in SoBro just West of Keystone in 53rd Street, in the South Keystone Shopping Center. The picture of MLK & JFK greet you as you walk in and the aroma of bacon cooking on the flattop as well as the pancakes & waffles fill the air. Food is simple but really good, and the portions are huge. You will not go away hungry. Service is busy but efficient and the prices are reasonable.My family and I have been going here for years, and have never had a bad meal. Football Sundays are especially entertaining! Enjoy!

The food was absolutely amazing. The staff and environment was friendly and inviting. Asked for well, well done with mushrooms in my hash-browns, normally other restaurants gets it wrong. The mushrooms as you can see in the picture were perfect!!!!!!!!! The sausage and waffle were delicious and my eggs were authentic. Definitely will be back and definitely recommend that you stop in and enjoy a delicious meal

The vegetarian omelet was a delightful mix of fresh vegetables cooked to perfection. The fried potatoes with green peppers and onions were lightly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, creating a satisfying blend of textures.The salmon croquette added a delightful element to the meal, with a crispy exterior and a moist, flavorful interior. (I will add this with each meal.) What stood out was the taste and the portion sizes - indeed, you get substantial servings for your money, making it a great value.The ambiance was comfortable, and the service was attentive and friendly, enhancing the overall experience. Their diverse menu suggests a commitment to catering to various tastes, and my positive first impression has definitely instilled the desire to explore more of what they have to offer on subsequent visits--highly recommended for those looking for a satisfying and affordable brunchy experience in Indianapolis.

The breakfast specials are really easy to order and delicious! The kicker was the TOAST. My order included TOAST. It was probably the best TOAST I have ever eaten. The bread is delicious and perfectly toasted. This may sound crazy, but I am going back for toast next week.

This place has the most amazing pancakes. I have tried with and without the blueberry topping and prefer to let them shine with just pancake syrup! The coffee is constantly being refilled here and love the taste of their coffee with their hazelnut creamer. I wish the potatoes were served hot. This is the only reason I rated it a 4 star instead of a 5 star.
