Kennedy estate is wonderful, I booked them and they're reasonably priced and pretty all inclusive. They have a decor barn too which is super helpful, free to utilize. And they run their bar as a total amount instead of pay per head which saves a ton of money. I wish more places did that. Super organized staff, and will keep your day super on track!! They were able to handle when catering was late and helped keep a line of events going to keep guests entertained. The barn itself is so picturesque that you really don't have to add much to it. There is also a styled train caboose and mini Ferris wheel which was a hit when taking photos. 10/10 recommend!

This venue is absolutely breathtaking, my guests are still taking about how perfect the venue was! The coordinators are wonderful to work with and work so hard to ensure your day moves smoothly and effortlessly. They set up several meetings prior to wedding day and keep communication open throughout the wedding planning process. Candy was always quick to respond to myquestions and helped coordinate everything the day of for a perfect day! The only think I wish i could change about the venue, was that the bridal suite had more room. I had myself and three bridesmaids up there and with the stylists and everyone stuff, the room was crowded. Overall, I think this venue is such a good choice especially for the price! Couldn't be more thankful to have gotten married here!

Simply beautiful! We were invited to a wedding last summer and it poured rain all day...super bummer for the bride and groom but everything was still stunning. The inside is huge with high ceilings and great places to hang decorations from above and on the walls. The outside has so much character the pictures that were taken outside once rain halted were so good with that backdrop. There is tons of parking available and there were over 125 guests and everyone was well taken care of. The staff were on top of things and had all the drinks stations and food full the entire time. The BBQ that was catered was delicious and stayed warm and the drinks stayed cold. If I was planning a wedding I'd definitely take this into consideration!

This place is so unique and charming. The outside setting is beautiful and the inside, particularly at night is absolutely beautiful. We had great service and very attentive and well-organized staff working with us. They also worked well with our florist, DJ and caterer. The wedding was beautiful!

What an amazing venue! Very chic and gorgeous barn. My best friend got married here and I was able to be by her side throughout the whole planning process and big day. The coordinators and barn staff are amazing! I have previously worked as a wedding coordinator's assistant at a particular venue and the professionalism and involvement never came close to what The Barn's staff does. I especially like how they have so many decorations and items to borrow- they will even buy things off of you to add to their inventory! They have a whole separate barn where all the items are stored. It also amazed me how many things the coordinators control to make your special day become perfect. By filling out all the paperwork with the outside teams' contact info (florist, DJ, caterer, etc.), you provide the coordinator with the names and numbers of these people in case one of the pieces doesn't come together. If someone is late, you don't have to deal with it! The Barn coordinators will contact the missing people and get them to where they need to be.I was particularly impressed on the wedding day when we requested a chalkboard to write a schedule on for the guests to view. The wedding coordinator stepped up and said she would take care of it when we were perfectly willing to do it ourselves. She probably had 100 other things to do at the time but pushed it all aside to do something the bride wanted. The only notes I would say about this venue is that some changes could be made to the actual building. It is a plain, hard floor inside the barn that has some imperfections. There are many cracks, a drain that's partly covered, and the floor definitely isn't the prettiest. A dance floor could work in this venue but it would be raised and could cause issues with the transition ramp around the edges. If you have a ceremony and reception here it wouldn't work out with a dance floor. Also I noticed a lot of the hanging lights were out. I understand it is very difficult to change any of the light bulbs but when it comes to pictures it would stand out to me. The outside of The Barn is very beautiful but I feel like a couple extra picturesque spots would do the trick. Besides the back deck and a swing, it's just all open grass.Overall I had a great time and would recommend this venue to anyone because their staff is incredible!

Wow what a beautiful venue. My best friends got married here a few weeks ago and the facility and location are stunning. They were married under a huge tree in the yard out back which provided some nice shade for the guests on this hot day. We then transitioned into the back patio for cocktail hour and finally into the main barn building for the reception. I was a groomsman so I was privy to the wedding party suites which were located separately on the 2nd and 3rd floors. They provided enough room for both groups (7 people in each) to get ready and hang out while guests arrived and preliminary photos were taken. It was hot that day and with no AC in the venue you've got to be ready to be sticky in the summer months but they did bring in a commercial cooling system to try to help with some air flow. A good effort. I would! recommend this venue if you're looking for an indoor/outdoor event with a Pinteresty barn feel.

Gorgeous event venue! We attended a wedding in this space and it was stunning! Beautiful barn with nice lighting, modern rustic farmhouse features and a gem rest open pallet. I'd recommend this venue to anyone - it was beautiful! The outdoor space is lovely too and could be another neat space for a wedding! It's a new structure - so has modern amenities. It was a bit chilly but they had plenty of heaters so if we turned them up I bet it would have been quite comfortable!

What a unbelievable venue. Possibly the coolest I have been to. You won't find your typical casino style obnoxious floor carpeting or cheap and gaudy chandeliers here. What you will find is an abundance of rustic charm without being corny or over the top country. It all starts with terrific interstate access, like a half block off of the exit good, like my driving app couldn't even calibrate fast enough before the driveway appeared good . Not too mention it was a quick and easy trip from Indy (30 mins from Broad Ripple) A long country gravel drive meanders it way up to the gorgeous barn which roosts proudly upon a small hill. And when I say barn don't picture a dilapidated old dusty shack that still faintly smells of animals. It is brand new and extremely well built: post and beam construction with very high ceilings, polished concrete floor, creative lighting, and cedar trim. Simply gorgeous. Out back a large deck overlooks the outdoor wedding area flanked by massive, centuries old trees. The grounds are just beautiful and seem to beg for photo sessions. I was completely at ease just soaking everything up with my eyes. I can't recommend this place enough- it was just too cool, too beautiful, and the staff managed everything at a highly professional level. Now I am just trying to come up with an excuse, any excuse, to use this venue......

when we first went to the venue, we were blown away. We met with the owner Kim, she was amazing and her story of how the venue came to be was beautiful. The venue is amazing! Us and all of our guests loved it. It is spacious and it is fun. It feels like you are walking into a whole new world. we loved it. Below, is not the about venue or the owner, but the event manager who runs it that ruined our experience. I would be careful when working with Candy, the event manager. she wasn't willing to hear our vision and kept pushing for the "this is how we do it" vision. With many of the plans we wanted, she pushed and had an alternative. Each interruption she expressed concern of not being able to deliver and used excuses such as crew set up, etc. It was a very uncomfortable environment. We decided that we were going to have an open bar. Initially we had decided at a limit to which then the bar would become a cash bar. As you can imagine, once the party started, we raised the limit, and we did so confidently and willingly. To our surprise, on our open tab, the bartenders, being paid a high hourly rate, were drinking on the job. I saw it with my own eyes. At the time I didn't know how to handle it and didn't want to ruin my wedding day with confrontation. After the wedding, I called Candy and expressed concerns about the bartenders drinking on the job, on our open tab. Her response delivery was unprofessional, her demeanor was aggressive and her emotional approach was offensive and rude. I don't think I've experienced gaslighting in a professional conversation to date until this conversation. Her immediate response was that I was not going to get a refund and that it sounded like I was upset after the fact of what we had spent. In fact, her exact words were, "it seems like you're upset now that you've realized your tab is over $5,000." Laughable. She must have never had expenses for a wedding.I hadn't asked for anything at all to which I noted and her response verbatim to that was "well then what is the point of this conversation." I was left speechless. I had started the conversation with acknowledging and taking accountability for increasing our limit willingly and without regret. But her audacity was extremely offensive. She was not friendly, endearing, or apologetic. In fact, she blamed us. She made no space for sympathy and took zero accountability for the fraudulent actions of her bartenders. The fact that the bartenders were drinking on the job is unacceptable and extremely unprofessional, and the situation was not handled at all. if you are working with Candy, beware. Speak up, state boundaries and be specific even when it feels like she's bullying you.At one point in the conversation, she told me that she is done with this conversation and will follow up by sending me an itemized receipt and would speak to the owner. Feeling attacked and unheard, I asked if I would be able to speak to the owner myself, to which she said she (Candy) is the one who makes the final decisions, but would speak to the owner to see if she would be WILLING to talk to me and if so, would call me. Candy phoned me back shortly after we hung up more rude than before, more dismissive, more unprofessional, And more callous. I expressed to her directly how she had made me feel and how hurt I was, she ended our conversation with this verbatim "do what you feel like you need to do." So to my brides and grooms, be very careful. Do not work with this woman.
