This was my first time attending Kelsay Farms and I went with some friends and other Butler students! The farm is perfect for all ages and there were so many fun activities to do for kids and adults. The first thing my friends and I did was get food at the food station. I got a "spooky milkshake", which was delicious (not pictured). They had a choice between vanilla and chocolate soft serve ice cream and it was topped with whipped cream, a donut hole, and a brownie bite. It was very sweet and delicious. It seemed like a lot of people were buying those milkshakes. Then we moved on to the animal barn which was a ton of fun. They had a cow, pigs, chickens, ducks, a bunny, goats, lambs, and even a donkey! You weren't allowed to feed the animals, but you were allowed to pet them and they had a huge bottle of hand sanitizer for people to wash their hands after petting the animals. The animals were gentle and friendly, so parents delt parents felt safe for their kids to pet the animals.Next, we went through a corn maze, and they had a "big" corn maze and "small" corn maze. For the big corn maze, the farm does a different intricate design every year. This year, I believe it was a tractor. They even have signs and QR codes to scan so you could track how far along the maze you are as well as track how long you've been in the corn maze. Then we went on the tractor ride. While this was relaxing, it was very slow and there weren't a ton of beautiful farm views. At one point, we were riding along next to a highway, so that took away from the farm experience a little bit. I also thought they were going to do a bunch of stops at vegetable or pumpkin gardens if even flower patches, but they did not, which I was surprised about considering each hay ride was about 30 minutes long. I would recommend the hay ride to people who want a break from exploring the farm and want to give their feet a rest. After the hay ride, my friends and I decide to check out the gift shop, and they had a lot of stuffed animals, branded shirts and sweatshirts, cookie cutters, and candles that smelled heavenly. Next to the gift shop, they had more activities for people to do. One of the farm's main selling points is their story about Spookley the Square pumpkin. In this space they also set up a backdrop for people to take pictures and a "design your own pumpkin" station where they provide different shapes for eyes, noses, and mouths and you can pick and choose to color in each shape. Near the corn maze, there were a bunch of activities including a giant bounce pad, signs which different games to play (such as "find the corn [popcorn, cornpipe, corn dog, etc]", mazes, and "find the difference"), basketball, a small train for children to ride, human foosball, and a hay tower for people to climb. This pumpkin farm is great for families and friends to attend to have the perfect fall day. They also have a similar experience during the wintertime if you check out their website.

My family and I decided to go to Kelsay Farms for their Holiday Stroll. It wasn't crowded at all and we were able to walk around and enjoy all the decorated scenes. It's great for taking pictures. We got to visit Santa and enjoyed hot chocolate next to the fire. We will definitely be returning next year. Our pre-teen even said it was fun.

We went recently, and it was a nice visit. They raised their prices from what I see, and their pumpkins are a little more expensive than what I'm used to. They had lots of different features for people to check out like a giant and extensive corn maze and lots of other things for the kids to do including a huge open bounce area. Most of the features are basically geared towards young children, except for the large corn maze, which older kids can go in as well as adults. It was very busy so they are popular. I would consider going again.

I was honestly underwhelmed when I came here. My friend and I drove up and found it to be much smaller than we thought. They had "lots of attractions", but I feel like it was more directed towards families with young kids. I would recommend coming here if you have kids. I spent a total of 1.5 hour and went on the hayride, climbed the hay, went through the corn maze, and saw the farm animals.

I had a lovely October adventure at Kelsay Farms! I had searched Yelp for corn mazes that weren't haunted and stumbled upon Kelsay Farms. I'm so glad I decided to go there! For $10, I was able to enter and access everything. I liked the affordable flat fee, rather than paying per section as many farms do. My friends and I visited the animal barn, rode the Moo Choo Express (they will let you ride as a 20-30something, but note that if you're tall like me, you'll be a little squished), tackled the corn maze and did some puzzles throughout. On a beautiful fall day, it's really nice! Obviously a lot of this is geared toward families and children. But my group was in the mid to late twenties and early thirties age range and really enjoyed it! So much so, my friends said we should make it a yearly thing! The staff here was super friendly. We had more than one longer interaction with them. Shout out to Simon operating the Moo Choo Express for making the experience fun and taking group photos for us! The corn maze was fun and they had a scavenger hunt for trivia signs to complete (if you take photos at each, you enter to win something). My group had a blast exploring and strategizing to find all 5. Unfortunately, we didn't find 1... and we felt like we looked everywhere! Still, it was a nice was to spend 60-90 minutes on a Saturday! Food wise, if you have sensitivities or allergies to dairy and/or gluten, it's best to bring your own food. The only thing I could've ordered was a hot dog without a bun (which I didn't want to pay $2.50 for) or a bag of Lay's potato chips. Thankfully, I'm used to not having gluten free and dairy free options and had a protein bar in my bag to eat! My friends loved the milkshakes, though--the chocolate tastes like a Frosty, they said--and had grilled cheese and hot dogs. All looked tasty! Bummer I couldn't really partake. My first visit was in 2020, so let's talk COVID precautions. They have a sign before entry that asks you not to come in if you're sick. There is hand sanitizer as soon as you walk in to pay-- and it's pumpkin scented and smells super good! They have portable toilets with hand sanitizer and a hand washing station outside of it. There was hand sanitizer in the animal barn and near the food stand as well. I was able to clean my hands multiple times, which helped me feel safe. They do encourage social distancing with signs by their play areas, though in some of those it may be hard with littles. The corn maze was pretty easy to social distance in... and I stepped back into the corn a few times for fun to make space for people to pass. Overall, I feel like they did a good job of trying to limit risks. My group went as soon as they opened and I'm glad we did since the crowds started picking up when we were leaving (~2-3pm). I'd recommend Kelsay Farms! You're able to have a really fun day there--with kiddos or without!

I had such a fantastic time at Kelsay Farms! Entrance was only $10 and there was an adorable MooChoo express for a quick ride (Shout out to Simon for encouraging the enthusiasm of my 20-30something year old friend group), some animals in the barn to meet, a large haystack for pictures, a few small mazes that were honestly more fun and challenging than the corn maze, and of course the corn maze. The corn maze was a bit tricky, if not just for trying to find all the trivia clues they had hidden throughout. Sadly, we couldn't find them all before we had to leave. They did have a few food options for good prices i got a hotdog and milkshake, and a friend got a grilled cheese. They also had great prices on pumpkins to buy, mini ones were just 2 for a dollar! And I couldn't leave without buying a small bottle of the pumpkin spice hand sanitizer. It smelled SO GOOD and I would buy a whole container of it. Was so glad they had it all over the place to use to help feel safe! Plan to make it an annual trip down hopefully!

I am absolutely in love with the farm. I love shopping local and supporting small businesses. Kelsay Farms was only a short 15-minute drive from Franklin, IN. It's right off I65, near the Worthsville Rd exit. The cost of admission is $10 a person. I must urge you to stop by the Milking Barn! We, unfortunately, missed our chance and I am super bummed. I believe this is the last year Kelsay Farms will have milking cows on their farm so you definitely don't want to miss the experience.*Pro tip - There is a special section for little kids called the Corn Crib. I will warn you though, it's super dusty. If you plan on taking family photos, do photos first and then play.I loved that Kelsay Farms played music throughout the night. You can even sign up for Karaoke. Something fun the farm had that I had never seen before was a human foosball table. You and your friends get in the foosball contraption and kick a soccer ball back and forth. Looks like fun. I loved all the cute little pumpkins and squash. I love the ones with all the knots. They are so cool yet kind of creepy. Cost $2-$6.
