Great little diner that was a welcome rest and refuel point for my family. Awesome breaded tenderloin with homegrown sliced tomatoes. Kids enjoyed their cheeseburgers, fries and onion rings. Wife enjoyed a fish sandwich. Good service and a good value.

Ladies working were nice. Iced tea would cause a revolt in the south. Lol. Tenderloin was solid and I would come back for another. Second best one so far on the trip. Was hungry and forgot to take a pic.

I am just not sure about this place. It certainly isn't much to look at on the outside and it smells like cigarettes as you walk up to it. The menu is very small but they did have breakfast at noon on a Saturday. So far my question on what's in a Western Omelet was unknown and straws are missing and there are 5 tables occupied here. We are from out of town and there was no sign to say seat yourselves so that was awkward. I normally like to search yelp for local places when we are traveling but so far in this area I have not have good results. We are in town to check out Indiana Wesleyan and tried the Stockaid Buffet last night. I love supporting local businesses since there is always a unique aspect hidden. Maybe someone else knows the secret here?

IF we could assign stars based on locations, this would be a 4! Based on what we have to work with, here goes! This is a converted post office...I would have loved to have seen that theme BUT the owner has used Jonesboro as the theme for the diner. It's cool, lots of old newspapers, high school memorabilia and prints. It is clean, it is spacious and has a great 290 degree counter that you can sit at and see everyone as you eat!The menu is not overwhelming, plenty of room for daily and weekly specials. I applaud them for NOT generating a 12 page menu...keep it simple and do a great job on what is on the menu. I enjoyed a typical Midwestern breaded tenderloin. Deep fried to a golden brown, nice size on a toasted bun. Dressed to your request. Sides are equally simply: fries, tater totes and cole slaw. They offer Pepsi products. The balance of the menu is traditional breakfast and sandwiches. The offer homemade pies...I was in a hurry or would have sampled the cherry pie.Overall, for a new diner, it is a wonderful addition to a town starved for dining establishments. Don't over-expect...this is a small town joint, very casual serving good, Indiana food. They have FREE wireless!! If there is a down side it would be that they only take cash and checks. My waitress said they are working on the credit card issue.Nice job, Kammy's Kafe!!!

The first time we ordered from here.. we got lg pizzas, and let me tell u, it was so good.. we had a hawaiian with jalapenos, pepperoni, and a cheese.. the crust was so good, a lot of toppings, and that cheese pull was awesome.. we got some garlic knots and cinnamon knots. Also, they were just as good.. we also had some cheese dip and garlic dip, both kinda lacking on flavor.. not enough garlic in the dip and not enough spice in the cheese, but as overall, it was amazing.. almost reminded me of kays...

We like to try new local places when we are on the road. But the food here was bland and the service was spotty at best, like they didn't even want to be there. I would not go back. It was a depressing experience.
