Just Pop In! Gourmet Popcorn Shop & Cafe

I love this place for a light lunch or an afternoon snack and a cocktail. The decor is delightful and fun and they have an event space upstairs. The "house spritz" is my favorite drink and is very refreshing. I also enjoy pairing that with a popcorn flight. My service has always been good. Last time I was there an employee asked if I wanted to see the upstairs. I said yes and now I am trying to think of an event to host there. It's so pretty! Definitely pop in if you're in the Broad Ripple area.

Just Pop In was such a cute and quaint little space. They were closed for a private event today, however, Ms. Linda gave us a tour of the inside and also offered us samples of popcorn. She paused what she was doing to share the different types of popcorn that was available. She told us if we wanted to buy something, we are more than welcome to. She was so sweet and bubbly! We were able to purchase 3 bags of popcorn, EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE CLOSED FOR THE DAY! We had the best experience for it to be just a quick visit. They did have parking in the back but there was street parking in the front. She made us want to come back. Ms Linda was so inviting. The popcorn was also delicious! We purchased the cheese, Indy mix, and hot wings and ranch flavor. We can't wait to come back!

Saw this shop as we were walking around after dinner and stopped in. The young lady behind the countervwas so nice and friendly and engaged us in conversation. We learnt that the shop has been around for a few years and they also have a restaurant and an event space. I'm not a big fan of popcorn personally but I can see myself coming back to try some offerings with my daughter. Definitely worth a visit for the food and/or the popcorn.

The service matched the popcorn and both were absolutely amazing! The manager of the store was so personable and inviting. The bacon cheddar popcorn is the best popcorn I've ever had. I suggest this to anyone who lives in or visits Indianapolis.

I cannot say how much I love this place enough! You would think that the store is mainly popcorn, but it is so much more!We were seated in the Ferris wheel room, which has a cool neon, flashing Ferris wheel on the wall that the kids just loved to look at! We sampled so much, and left so full! Before we walked in, we thought that we were going to make dinner after we popped into the popcorn shop but we came home stuffed and happy! Here's what we had:Prosecco with fruit juices to add Grilled cheese and chips CandiesLox and bagels HummusMeat, vegetable and cheese tower Dessert and cheese platePopcornThe kids loved the grilled cheese and chips and the candy flight that they were served. When the sampler tower first came out, my kids thought they wouldn't like anything on it, but they immediately began devouring the meats and cheeses!It was our first time trying lox and bagels, and I am so glad that just pop in was my first place to sample! The salmon was seasoned so well, and so flavorful, and the cream cheese is out of this world! I had to stop myself from just scooping the cream cheese on the spoon and eating it plain! Our dessert tray was the freshest fruit and most wonderful strawberry yogurt covered strawberries, popcorn, and heart shaped cheese! My daughter hoarded the pretzels I only could get a couple in, and what I had was so wonderful! We're definitely coming back! I can also see myself coming to the spot with my book club for a great time! So go ahead and just pop in! :-)

I popped in for a little lunch and a glass of wine. Just Pop In is a retail shop that sells popcorn, but it's also a cafe that serves sandwiches, salads and small bites. It's kind of cool, actually. I don't know of another restaurant that serves popcorn and alcohol and food at the same time. Broad Ripple is blessed to have this popcorn hybrid restaurant in the neighborhood. Their wine list isn't extensive, but I did order a glass of Malbec that was good. I also ordered a grilled cheese sandwich, which was made with gruyere cheese that was supremely melty. The grilled cheese had two slices of tomato in it. It was grilled perfectly. In my experience, most restaurants undergrill their grilled cheese sandwiches, but Just Pop In's grilled cheeses are the perfect amount of grilled. All sandwiches come with a side, and popcorn is an option. Of course I got the popcorn as a side, and it was a mixture of caramel corn and cheese popcorn.The cafe area has three tables on one side, and a bigger table on the other side, and that's it. There is some outdoor seating on the large patio. I wouldn't recommend coming with a large group to eat here unless you rent one of the rooms on the second story (which are available for things like parties and baby showers and whatnot). The service was great -- my server was super attentive. And bonus: the joint was spic and span, and they were playing some sort of movie on the TV above the bar.

This is a very popular location for small events (engagement party, bridal shower, baby shower, birthday party, etc) and for GOOD reason. I have been twice. Once for my engagement party and once for lunch. The engagement party was so fun- they had a large table for us (about 10 people) and we started with a bottle of champagne. We then all ordered popcorn pairings, some of us with the beer option and some with the wine option. It was so unique and fun! And the pairings really did work! When I came for lunch, everything was awesome. We both tried a sandwich and split the cheese board. While the cheese board was not one of the most extravagant I have seen, it got the job one and the pickles and olives and popcorn were a nice touch. I do wish there were more crackers though. Between that and half of a sandwich (I got the sloppy Joe grilled cheese) I was stuffed and took the rest home. They have a full bar (with very cute drink accessories), a full menu, popcorn flights, and a CUTE location perfect for pics. They also have a patio and an upstairs! There is parking outside, but it gets full pretty fast with the other businesses there. I found street parking about a street and a half away and it was no problem!

This was not how I expected to spend my Sunday a few weeks ago, but I was very pleased that we "Just Popped In"! My friend had been there before and he suggested that we get a few drinks and try out some popcorn while walking around Broad Ripple. We started off with a bottle of their Beckmen Sauvignon Blanc and it was really good! I am usually wary of Savignon Blanc as some tend to be way too sweet, but this one was great and I was glad that we chose it. We also ordered their popcorn flight and it was a great way to try multiple different types of popcorn, and even better, we were able to pair it with some wine. The staff was great! They were a little overwhelmed as there was a big party who was over-the-top needy, but they worked well under pressure and not once were we waiting on anything. I can't wait to go back and try out more of their menu! They also have great outdoor seating that I can't wait to go back to and utilize.

It was a beautiful day so i decided to go check out Just Popin in broad ripple & it was such an experience!When i first seen them i thought it was just popcorn but it's so much more. The building is BEAUTIFUL it's inside & outside seating. The patio view is gorgeous it's also a fireplace out there for chilly nights.The menu isn't big we love that it makes it easy to choose from. They have different soups, plates & hot or cold sandwiches + tons of different gourmet popcorn options!The Drink menu has a wide variety of sparkling, rosé,red & white wines + their signature drinks & beers.I got the Lemon Rosé Punch & it was DELICIOUS! I just realized that I haven't reviewed this new, amazing cafe and shame on me, because this is one of my favorite spots. What started out as my love for their wholesale popcorn, has now morphed into a love for their huge, two-story renovated-home-turned-cafe too. The first time I visited, I had an hour between meetings and needed to bring my laptop and work from somewhere. I posted up at the cute bar inside Just Pop In and enjoyed some cheddar popcorn while smashing out emails. I now refer to this place as the "girl bar," as there were several other women doing the same. You know how there's always random men posted up at bars around town? I felt like this was a place that women can comfortably do that. The interior is STUNNING. There's bright pink wallpaper, neon signs, super-mod light fixtures, friendly staff, and an upstairs that you can rent out (PERFECT spot for a baby or bridal shower!). There's also a big wraparound porch with an outdoor fireplace where they often host live music. You can order soups, salads, sandwiches, etc, but the best part is their beer/popcorn or wine/popcorn pairings. They're so fun! You can also order a beer or wine alone, or simply a bowl of your favorite popcorn! Didn't finish it? Take it to-go! My usual favorite popcorn flavor is Cheddar, but I recently tried the Tomato Basil Pizza popcorn, which took that #1 spot. Just Pop In does flavor collabs with local food businesses around town, so you'll always have new flavors to try too. Enjoy!
