This might just be my favorite restaurant in Ham Co!!! I've been here a handful of times and have never had a bad meal! The staff is always friendly, and I love that they take reservations over the phone. The ambiance is quaint--it's literally a house that's been converted into a restaurant, making it super cozy. My only minor complaint is that it can get a little loud, but they do have panels on the walls to help soften the sound. The food is absolutely to die for. I've ordered the braised short ribs the past few times, and they've always been incredible, so I was hesitant to branch out. But I'm so glad I did because my fried chicken platter was unreal! I was a little nervous that the hot honey would be too spicy, so I got it on the side instead. It turned out to be the perfect balance of sweet and heat! I even enjoyed it on the cornbread appetizer we ordered (which was also fabulous, btw).I will absolutely be back--again and again and again!

What a wonderful place with excellent staff! I was trying to find a place to celebrate my friend's 50th birthday and after calling multiple restaurants that wouldn't allow me to make a reservation I came across Juniper on Main. They made making a reservation so easy and were so accommodating. We had a group of 10 and everyone loved their food. From the loaded fries to the salmon, everything was delicious.I will definitely be back!

Such a cute little place w lots of charm!Very kind staff that treated us and seated us immediately. We were greeted by our waiter and he took our drink orders and answered questions. We had a very hard time picking what to eat because so many things sounded great. In the end we had the Hot Honey Buttermilk Chicken and the Meatloaf dinner.Excellent! The chicken is nice and crispy w just a slight drizzle of hot honey. Very tender and juicy.Served w fries and delicious Cole Slaw. The meatloaf was good, like an old fashioned home-cooked meal. The smashed red potatoes were good but we asked for gravy to enhance it and that was a delicious gravy! The meatloaf also came w sautéed zucchini, onion, corn and garlic that was light and very tasty.I look forward to coming back and enjoy a meal on the patio.

Always down for some low country and coastal fare but this place was just a hot mess when we came here on a Monday night. So I will stick this place on my list that is called "I just want to give you money" because it was damn near impossible to pay (let alone get a hold of our server the entire time). We sat on the patio, our server came over eventually and then not again.....for a long time. We ordered an appetizer in hopes it would stave off the hunger but it took a bit albeit, it was delicious (crab dip). After that we played the waiting game......the food came out, we devoured it and it was delicious, although I didn't taste much chile lime flavor with the salmon not coconut with the coconut rice. After that we had to ask three different people to get our server so we could give him money. Nope, never again. Again, please let me just let us give you money in exchange for food.

Nothing special. Our server was great, but the food was very mid and bland. Playing southern style romantic songs, lots of music covers that were not great, songs re done from Taylor Swift and The Weeknd. I ordered the crab cake sandwich,(which I just ate the crab cake part because the sandwich was poorly designed and too big) and I had an upset stomach for more than 2 days. So, I will not be returning, I am pretty sure that's what made me sick. The fries are plain and boring. They serve Hubbard and Cravens coffee, which is also just mid. Too much hype about this spot. Barely any parking. They sat us by the door on a 2 top with an empty restaurant at 11am and we were freezing cold. Not a great experience at all. Looks like things pick up like crazy at noon and that you'd need a reservation.

Came here on a random Friday night and we did not have a reservation. Had to find parking on a local street behind as their parking lot was very full. It wasn't a bad parking spot because we only walked about one or two short blocks to the restaurant.Upon arrival because we did not have a reservation, we had to sit outside, which was fine because luckily it was a nice weather evening on the cooler side. Only problem with their outdoor seating area is that the chairs are metal with no cushions and very uncomfortable The service was absolutely incredible and very friendly and helpful. We ordered one appetizer and one entrée each, and everything was super delicious. However, I have to say that for both entrées the main proteins were very hot and fresh off the stove while the sides of the potatoes and the vegetables were very cold. Not sure if the food is kept warm or if there is a plate warmer available back there in the kitchen, but that would've made the experience just a little bit better I would definitely come back here again because the food quality was good. The service and the ambience is fantastic and the location is awesome on the main street in Carmel.

Juniper on Main is a cute, little house off Main Street in the Carmel Arts District. The quaint restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating. I've visited before, but my most recent experience was with a group of 15 of my coworkers for a bit of out-of-office fun. As I was walking up, the waiter seemed frazzled that we would want to split the check and said this request would be an additional 20 minutes at the end of our meal. No one in our party was stressed about this, but I get that he wanted to set expectations since other groups may not be so kind about a wait. When we went to order, he rattled off a list of menu options that were unavailable: including the deviled eggs that are a major draw to the restaurant. Bummer. Despite these set backs, the ambience and the food were delightful. I got the CBR chicken sandwich. It was tasty and nicely presented. My friend let me try a bite of her short rib and grilled Pimento cheese sandwich. Let me tell you... that was amazing. I'd be back for that. Tip: There is parking behind the restaurant if you can't find street parking!

I had the most amazing time with my family as we embarked on a special mission: wedding dress shopping! We were a lively group of eight, and after our exciting adventure, they suggested we check out this fantastic restaurant. Naturally, I couldn't resist trying their hot honey chicken dish, and oh boy, it was absolutely perfect! The chicken was cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of honey flavor. It had a little kick, but nothing to be scared of. Trust me, you've got to give it a try! And let me tell you about the cornbread - it was simply divine! Make sure to order it for the whole table because it's a real crowd-pleaser.I wish I could have taken pictures of everyone's meals, but they dug in so quickly! Clearly, everyone was more than satisfied. Luckily, I did manage to sneak a pic of my dad's catfish, and he really enjoyed it. The restaurant itself is adorable, with its charming white and blue decor. And despite our large group, the service was super speedy and attentive. I'm definitely going back, especially because I'm now curious about their brunch menu. It's safe to say I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

This is such a great restaurant in the heart of downtown Carmel. This is only my second time there. Service was fantastic, food was phenomenal, and we were drawn in by the Devour Indy menu. We shared the corn bread appetizer, which was delicious and came out hot and served with a side of butter. For my dinner, I ended up getting the garden salad (description from the Devour Menu: Sweet Corn and Basil Relish, Tomato, Cucumber, Cheddar, Romaine, Arugula, Fresh Herb Ranch (GF) as a starter, Black 'n Blue Alfredo Florentine Pasta (description from the Devour menu: Fischer Farm Beef Filet, Creamed Spinach Alfredo, Cherry Tomato, Parmesan Cheese), and the Hummingbird Cake for dessert (description from the Devour Indy menu: Pineapple, Banana, Pecan, Coconut, Cream Cheese Frosting with Grilled Pineapple Relish). They have such unique offerings. When I called to make our reservation, the gentleman who answered the phone was also very pleasant and helpful. Highly recommended for some unique foods with excellent service. There is a parking garage nearby if you cannot find nearby parking, but there is also a little parking lot behind the business as well.

Food is tasty and the staff and very friendly. Restaurant is beautiful inside and seating is separated by walls if you like a more private dining. They also have outdoor seating for those who enjoy that. Parking can be a little wanky. Bill is an excellent manager with great people skills.I got the salmon tacos and they were great!
