J's Lobster & Fish Market

My granddaughter and I had lunch at this popular little seafood stand inside The Garage Food Hall today. I had a bowl of the clam chowder and she had the kid's mac and cheese meal with French fries (yes, carbs with a side of carbs). Our clerk was friendly and the food came out quickly. The kid's meal was awesome. The fries tasted fresh cut and delicious. They were hot with a delicate spice. Great fries. My cup of clam chowder was not hot. So I took it back and they happily heated it up. The chowder was thick and creamy with lots of clams. The chowder was served with oyster crackers. As a seafood lover, I'll be back.

NOT cheap, but yummy food with large servings!They are located in Garage Food Hall @ Bottleworks, so everyone can select their own genre of food.

My daughter and I stopped in the Garage to grab some dinner. She and I both got the Works Roll. It came with a side of chips and a small thing of slaw. Yes, it was pricey, but it was so good and so full of seafood. I was full the rest of the night. The service was pretty fast, just long enough to prepare the roll, and friendly. There was plenty of seating and they keep the common area clean. Plenty of paid parking outside. I'll be back for that roll!

Did you say-clam chowder. Cold, cold day so perfect for some chowdah. It was pretty good, but missing some chewy clams (needed more). Fish sandwich was hot and crispy. Tartar sauce was tangy and sweet. Very very tasty treat. Worth the price of $26.42 for 1 person??? Not sure.

This is my second visit to J's Lobster in the Garage. Fun place if you're looking for something a little different on an afternoon. The food is good. I'm a transplant from Florida and CRAVE seafood, especially lobster rolls. The roll itself is pretty standard, New England style bun with mayo, lettuce, lobster pieces and of course garlic butter. Comes with standard bag chips. Service is always friendly, but keep in mind it's basically a food court and time with the staff is limited. My only complaint is the price. Of course we've had inflation but the one small roll and a small drink was $33. Would I pay for it again...probably but not often at that price.

FOOD- Fish Tacos: fried fish in a flour tortilla, topped with lettuce, pico, and cilantro. This was pretty good. It was missing some sauce. I used the sauce from the rangoons and it was fire. 4/5- Lobster Rangoons: lobster and cream cheese in fried wonton. This was really good. 4.5/5SERVICE: Fast and friendly. 4/5FINAL THOUGHTS: I would come back. I enjoyed my food and I would like to try other items on the menu.

I was craving a lobster roll and just happened to be near by. The food was made fresh after ordering. The fries were hot and crispy! The slaw was just ok, I didn't end up finishing it. The did get the hot lobster roll which hit the spot! I personally mine mixed with mayo and butter and this one just had a line of mayo underneath. It was still fresh and delicious. I would definitely go back, I would probably try something different though. The location is nice being it is in the garage! There is something for everyone.

I've walked by J's Lobster & Fish Market for years now and haven't stopped in yet - I decided I would finally and boy I was glad I did! I had a special that afternoon, a lobster and grilled cheese with chips and coleslaw. There were huge chunks in it and the cheese melted, it soften the grilled bread. Service was quick for a busy afternoon. Definitely will be back!

$56 for 2 lobster rolls - not much lobster sort of tasteless. $8 for greasy overcooked hushpuppies. Don't waste your money.

Went on a Friday, early evening, so service was quick. Ordered was the lobster roll with a side of fries. It was very tasty, I wasn't disappointed. The bread was toasty and buttery, portion was good enough for two people. I enjoyed my visit here.
