Jordan's Fish. Chicken. Gyros.

I passed by here a couple of months ago and since I'm always looking for seafood, I added them to my list. Today I was able to come in and try them out. I had studied their menu from my doctor's waiting room in Methodist just a couple of blocks away. I had narrowed down my choice to two options, fish or shrimp. I decided to order the 2 Catfish Fillets which includes fries and a can of pop from the lunch menu. The fillets are huge. They barely fit in the go box. The catfish tasted great! No issues whatsoever with the vegetable oil they were cooked in. The cornmeal breading was perfect. In my opinion, the catfish here is better than Caplinger's. The fries were fries. I'm not big on fries anymore unless they're crinkle style or steak fries. Jordan's has some seasoning on their battered fries. They were good enough for a side but my focus is always on the main entree and their catfish is the bomb. Highly recommended by moi. Restroom was out of order. There is a small free parking lot behind the building they share with a barbershop and a florist. I found multiple empty parking spots. Service was excellent all around. Dining room was mostly vacant at 1:30 pm on a Thursday. Bottom line is this was a good find.

Sent me the wrong order RIGHT before closing. Ordered through Uber Eats.I ordered a chicken dinner and a gyro. They sent me two chicken dinners. No gyro. I placed my order mainly for the gyro. They lazily gave me the wrong order right before closing so I couldn't call back and get what I actually ordered.*Update*I called the next day to get my gyro and they refused to give it to me. He told me he was out of gyro and no one informed me. They didn't even give me a refund. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS LOCATION. ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I deliver food for DoorDash, that's how I find places that I haven't tried. When you get a lot of runs to the same place, you figure they're good. People ordered a lot of lemon pepper wings. Never tried them so I did. Oh no, now I have another food on my must have list! PS: get a side of extra lemon pepper, it should last a while!

*sigh* I am being generous in giving Jordan's two stars. First, I don't know what kind of oil was used to fry their chicken wings and fries but before I could get full I had a queasy feeling that I usually get from eating foods fried in cheap or overused recycled oils. Second, I tried to dismiss my stomach discomfort because when I opened the chicken and it had feathers still on it I was disgusted. I thought to myself that my mild stomach discomfort must be as a result of me being annoyed that I had to try to pick around the feathers to eat, naaaah not the case. Unfortunately, I over-ordered because I assumed I would want to eat it for lunch the next day since I was traveling for business. So I was stuck with enough chicken and fries for two meals and as a result, I had to toss it into the trash can. I simply couldn't suffer through it. I went to bed that night on a near-empty stomach. If I would have read the reviews prior to ordering, I wouldn't have.

Amazing gyros! Just got a door dash order and the fries are still very hot and everything is so fresh!

Today I got to see how this establishment was kind and helpful to an older woman. I enjoyed my experience and the food was PERFECTLY fried. Thank you to the kind gentleman at the front for caring about her. :)

One of the few places in Indy that actually knows how to season food. Highly recommend. Customer service was on point and the shrimp are huge.

I have been wanting to try this place for awhile now. Often I would take my wife to Culver's next door and I would think let's try that place. So today I surprised my wife and we went there. The photos of the food are awful. The food looks much better in real life. The Cole-slaw was absolutely horrible ! Worst I have ever tasted. The gyros was ok but too oily for me. My wife liked the fried cod. I liked the tea. Reasonable price considering the horrible inflation our country is suffering with right now but overall it was fine. The menu didn't have a healthy choice but I probably wouldn't have made a good choice anyway!

I love ordering takeout from here because they wrap everything up nice and keep it as warm and moist as possible till I get home. The catfish is also incredibly good I've never had anything like it

I have not been to this location in several years and will not be returning. I ordered the wings and catfish nugget meal. The best part were the fries. The fish was fried batter and did not have any meat in them. The wings looked more like hens than chickens. I donated $16+ to this establishment. Lesson learned.
