Ordered through DoorDash ...Food was okay. Nothing spectacular. What we expected.Why not 5 stars? The food was all fried and placed in "unvented" styrofoam containers and double tied in a plastic bag. That means that by the time we got it, all of the crispness had flaked off and everything was soggy.A little care in packaging goes a long way. Food might has been good if it had been packaged properly.

For $15 for 8 wings things need to be perfect! The wings and fries were cooked in oil that had been used for fish. I contacted the restaurant, and the person assured me that the chicken and fries were cooked in correct oil. This can't be further from the truth. Both the wings and fries smell like fish!I'm not driving 8 miles back to get a replacement and then 8 miles back home. People, check your food before you pull off not just for the right contents but to make sure it smells properly too!

Good food and great service. This is a nice place to order and go. Definitely not here for the ambiance. Busy area with the bar next door. Not the best parking in the evening.

5 stars.I'm a huge fan of this joint. My favorite menu item is the jumbo shrimp...they are ahhhh-mazing! Perfectly seasoned, gigantic, juicy pieces of culinary crunchiness! When you eat them, you'll see! Best place for shrimp in the entire city.My family loves the chicken wings, too. We order them by the tray full! They have a delightful lemon pepper sprinkle atop them and are usually fried well. Extra seasoning is $1, but I never need it. The highlight here is the mild sauce... it's perfectly tangy and sweet. I'm usually a hot sauce person, but here I just dip them in mild sauce. You should ask for extra cuz you are gonna need it. It goes great with the fries...They have the Pepsi drink machine...I'm a coke girl so not excited about that. And the carbonation was kinda flat, but I'm sure they've fixed that.Call ahead and your order will be ready when you arrive.Always good service when I visit, as well.

This is one of my favorite places to get chicken. I'm very picky when it comes to two types of food pizza and most definitely WINGS....!!! Let me note when you walk into this establishment, it's not necessarily a place in which most people would want to dine in, not saying that in bad way, it's just rather small on the inside, so the majority of the people either call ahead and pick up or walk in and order. The menu selection consists of a variety of fried options including different types of fish, shrimp, and of course chicken. I think most people order the wings, which are AMAZING....!!!! The one thing that I really enjoy about this place is that they cook to order. It's not that they ever have any good already pre-made, so you know it's going to be fresh when you get it. They also have a variety of sides that you can get which are fried as well, but it's all good. They have fountain drinks if that's your thing. They also have a refrigerated selection of soft drinks and the like. If you have a sweet tooth they offer cookies and cake slices for purchase although I've never had them, they look delicious. In the many years that I have frequented here, they have NEVER disappointed. There are many locations, but I have only ever been to the one on Shadeland Avenue. If you are ever on the Northside and want some good fried food that's not overly greasy, definitely stop by.Oh, and I almost forgot.....you definitely have to get EXTRA lemon seasoning, it's to DIE for.

I'm not a big fan of wings, I prefer boneless and I can't handle spicy. But the wings here are juicy, fried to a crisp, and seasoned well with a salty seasoning. I love that they give you sauce on the side so you have the option to use it or not. Plus some of the salty seasoning on the side if you want more. The fries are alright, bit soggy. I would definitely come back for the wings. Yum!

Their food it's always good and hot.but the last time I was there the kitchen didn't look so great,i eat with my eyes, I haven't gone back ‍keeping the kitchen clean take time out to swept the floor tidy up the kitchen.

First time customer 3 piece Cod sticks,... not filets $16 + tax, Cod is like rubber. staff was friendly, wait wasn't terrible.

Have been a patron of this location for several years and always enjoyed the meals and service. I usually buy the 2 piece catfish lunch special and have seen slight price increases over the years. On 1/29/24 the catfish lunch special w drink was $9.80 and today 2/9/24 the same lunch special was $13.08. I understand pricing has gone up on almost everything these days, but CMON now....over 30% increase?
