Jim & Jack's on the River

Nice little spot for an afternoon lunch. The place was packed with people which told us they must have a pretty great lunch during the week. I got some kind of cowboy panini which was essentially a burger with jalapeño cream cheese on Texas toast with a bacon jam to dip which was so simple yet phenomenal. We will definitely be back. Be sure to arrive early as they were packed during the middle of the week for lunch. They had many good options and were fairly priced and had friendly service.

I was actually impressed by Jim & Jacks. I was expecting a rundown old restaurant and this is the opposite. Very lively on a Saturday night with a decent crowd and live music.Equally impressive was their food. The pizza was delicious and I had to cut myself off before I over ate. The Buffalo chicken salad was probably one of the best I've had in a long time. I must also mention the beer. Their coolers must be operating at peak performance as the brews were the perfect refreshing temperature. I've added Jim and Jacks to my list of places to definitely return and try other menu items. Their wings are next...

This bar/restaurant has ample accommodation for country line dancers and live entertainment. The pizza is pretty good; they have a great deal for their largest size! This is a local favorite for families, dancers, and seniors to spend time together for special occasions, or just because. The staff is really friendly, energetic and efficient. Your needs are well taken care of at Jim & Jack's.

The name is a bit deceptive. It's near the river but not exactly on the river. In fact, there is no outdoor seating and even if there was you wouldn't be able to see the river. Having said that, we enjoyed a tasty lunch at this local bar and grill. The service was good, the food was good and the prices are reasonable. We had their fish sandwich ($13) and their Hot Sausage sandwich ($11) and both come with one side. Portions were ample but not so big as to have left-overs. They have a full bar with a big beer selection. Part of the place is a dance floor and stage where they have live music on certain days. It's popular with the locals so it can get crowded, especially on weekends. Free parking in their lot.

Christmas Eve brunch with my family this year was such an amazing time!! We had beyond exceptional service from a few different servers and ordered multiple appetizers. The service and variety of food made our Christmas extra special, especially after not seeing each other in awhile. Highly recommend their pizzas, pretzels, loaded tots, fried pickles, pretty much everything was super tasty. Thank all of you who worked on Christmas Eve to make my family's year end so special. The only other time I came here was my grandmas 70th birthday and great environment for any occasion. Very family oriented and conscientious to ensure everyone is satisfied with their experience. Will definitely be back!

This place was recommended by old friends, so my wife and I drove down from Columbus to meet with them at what we assumed was an old Rt 50 bar. We were very mistaken, as this is one hell of a cool place! You can eat, drink, dance a little and have fun with loads of decent people. This place was packed but parking was easy, the interior is large and I even ran into some of my old Cincy friends from the hilltop. The food was good & priced right, the band was very good and we can't wait to return very soon.

Great Service, great food! Jim is a delight, I'll definitely be back! Drew's may have a nice view but this place is just better overall.

A nice lively location that is a good spot to catch nightly games and live music. Genuinely the best pizza I've tried to date in Cincinnati, with other good options on the menu as well, including the fish sandwich. Large portion sizes for prices as well. The servers and owner are extremely friendly, and this is a location we continue to come back to.

Decent selection on the menu. I had the Texas burger on Texas toast with sautéed onions and mushrooms. Moderately priced. Very tasty but the burger was a bit tough. Service was okay but there was a very small crowd on a Wednesday afternoon. Curious to try their Philly steak and Swiss cheese sandwich.

Jim and Jack's is so much fun and Karen the bartenders always entertaining. Food is delicious. Drinks are cold. It's a great place to hang out.
