Jacquie's Northside Nutrition Bar

We were SO IMPRESSED with this new cafe run by local Jacquie's Catering. I personally have not related to the "nutrition bars" popping up around the city because I don't get how a "sour patch shake" is considered healthy in any way. The name therefore almost deterred me from stopping in. However, it's so much more than a nutrition bar. I honestly think the name should just be "cafe" or "fresh food" because they use local (toasted Amelia's bread!) and organic ingredients on their wide menu. Our meals were delicious and I've been wanting to come back since. First of all, the woman behind the counter was so friendly! She greeted us, asked if we'd been in before, and then proceeded to rave about the menu. It truly seemed like she loved the food there and ate it all the time which was a great sign. You can see all of the ingredients they use behind the glass and everything is fresh, colorful, bright and also organic or local as much as they can. It's rare to find a cafe using organic produce, so I think their name should highlight that awesome fact. The food is truly healthy and good. The menu is printed huge on the wall with lots of photos. Everything sounded amazing! They offer: - breakfast bowls (oatmeal, açaí, burrito bowls)- salad bowls (choose your base and toppings)- rice bowls (quinoa, wild rice, etc) - paninis on local Amelia's bread - wraps (whole wheat or gluten free) - specials (soups, drinks, bowls) I ordered the falafel salad bowl and ate every bite. Every ingredient was incredibly fresh and the falafel was sooooo good. My friend got the fisher farm ham artisan panini and enjoyed it too. There are only a few tables to eat at, but takeout is a great option too. They are located next to Yujo and Kona Jack's and share the big free parking lot. Definitely check them out!

Stopped here for a late breakfast because I forgot to pack mine. Located in a lot with a few other food options, a nail shop and a dance studio. Convenient to get to and has a nice small outdoor seating area. Had one person ring up my order, one person in the back making it. Only ordered an açaí bowl to go, nothing too crazy. Took about 10 minutes to get my order, which isn't a crazy long wait except it was sitting on the counter back by the ingredients for about 5 minutes because the chef and the FOH worker weren't communicating with each other. Açaí bowl (pictured) was $16.85. Good amount of fruit, not a terrible size. But for $16.85???????? The base was very watery and had a weird stale flavor. I was disappointed as a whole and will unfortunately not be back for an açaí bowl any time soon.

Discovering this place has changed my lunch game. This is a bold statement but i think their egg panini is my favorite sandwich in Indy. I love how warm and fresh it is. The bread is so good. Everything about this sandwich makes me do the food happy dance. I want to try all their other options but that egg panini keeps on drawing me back. Healthy and delicious can be a hard accomplishment to achieve. But this place does it well.

This was such a pleasant experience. After attending a doctor's appt on the north side of Indy, we wanted a healthy breakfast. We love acai bowls and saw this new spot just opened a few months ago. The owner greeted us right away and thanked us for coming in. She explained their menus and fresh, clean, high quality ingredients. We needed up ordered an acai bowl and breakfast wrap. We Suber tofu for ham on the wrap and it was so fluffy and filling. Everything was delicious, the customer service next level, and we loved the caliber of ingredients used.

Stopped in here for lunch, got everything to go and was very impressed in the taste. Tried the Roast Beef panini and the Southwest Salad, both had great flavor. This is one place that the "built to order" salads actually taste like they are built to order. All ingredients were crisp and fresh. Even the salad dressing was house made. I would definitely come back for some great food for the value. The customer service was excellent as well, very kind and personable. All in all, it was a great experience, I would definitely recommend giving it a try.

Stopped in after dropping the dogs off at daycare around 7:45 am. (This is right by Daddy Jacks). I was the only person and was quickly greeted by the owner who was very friendly!! She explained that the shake comes with a tea and there were so many shakes to choose from. They have the most popular listed on the wall and then a whole list on the counter. She said these are sugar free or as low as one gram, and no fake sugars. I opted for the peanut butter pie shake and the pink punch tea. You guys-the tea was super tasty and a great way to start the morning. It has aloe in it too! The shake was to die for. I'm still not sure how there are no sugars in it because it sure tastes like it! She said I'd be amazed at how full I was after I finished it and she was right. I got stuck on back to back calls and didn't get to eat lunch until 1:30, but I wasn't starving, and I normally would have been. I think the only thing I'd like to see are the availability to see ingredients and nutritional information!

I have been going here since it first opened. I love Jacquie and her personality. She makes you feel welcomed when you first walk in. Her protein shakes are delicious as well as her teas. I'm so glad to see her business thriving and look forward to trying her lunch menu now that it's in place! Perfect stop for lunch!

I made the mistake of ordering ahead. Yelp and grub hub confirmed my order but the restaurant was closed when I arrived. Grub hub reimbursed my debit card and offered a discount on a future order but I don't think I will be ordering through grubhub anymore. I have tried before and the last time the restaurant said they didn't have the order (different restaurant)
