This is such a great addition to downtown New Castle. Family dining, a bar area, golf simulator, axe throwing and a Gastro pub menu. The brussels sprouts are crisp and have a honey glaze sauce ...just "amazing" and can be ordered as a side instead of fries. Definitely a must. The trio of dips with chips for an appetizer is something that you could just have with a beer and sit at the bar and watch football on a Sunday.Great atmosphere and service.Love the local beef sourced from L&K Farms, try the smash burgers! I have been several times and love it more each visit. I also love to sit booth where you can all squish in and be comfy and they have seating at tables or booths. Excellent experience.

I visited Ink & Ale having never heard of it- a group lunch. I was excited about visiting a new place. We had a reservation for a large group. Service was super efficient and pleasant. I prefer draft beer and was happy with the list. However, the pricing on the menu did not match what I was charged. I didn't notice it at the time and am not sure if it's because the pricing is outdated on the menu or if the price is for a pint and the server decided everyone was getting a larger size. We noted the giant beers but again, at the time I didn't think anything of it. Either way isn't a good thing.I had a the chicken salad. The dressing was served on the side and the toppings were generous. I was happy with the food itself but wish it came in a bowl vs a flat plate. Not a big deal. This was my first visit here and to downtown New Castle. I'm definitely interested in coming back, especially for the brunch.

Stopped for lunch. Good food and good service. It wasn't busy, so we did get to chat the some of the staff. They were aware of the building and history and willing to share some stories.

My initial visits were not stellar-- but my last few meals have been excellent. The beer cheese nachos are stand-outs. The service was top notch, from the hostess, to table waiter, to bartender. The ambiance is great. Open 7 days and open late (for around here). Glad to have something that feels big city in this little burg! I'm excited to attend music bingo soon, too.

First time here, tried brunch. Biscuits and gravy was fantastic, actual sausage in the gravy. Wife got a breakfast burrito, she loved it, fried potato's were awesome as well! Will be back!

Came here before my class reunion. Nice beer and cider selection, but some of the ones I wanted to try were out. Wasn't too hungry, but the burgers sounded really good, so if we go back I will definitely try one. We ordered their shrimp appetizer along with the Mediterranean trio. The shrimp appetizer was nice and hot but their version of the "bang bang" sauce was not that good. It reminded me of a mild buffalo sauce mixed with mayo and a hint of sweetness. Just not much flavor and overall odd combination. I wanted something more to excite my taste buds. You could easily tell that the shrimp was a pre-breaded, pre-packaged frozen variety. Don't really recommend for $10+. The Mediterranean trio was disappointing. The pita chips, even though hot, were almost too hard to bite into. The hummus was not fresh and when it was served to us, there was a hard, dry crust on top. It was like it had been sitting out and just dried out. The whipped feta was not my favorite. I absolutely love feta cheese and after taking just one bite, I did not go back for seconds. You would think that the olives would have been in like a dip form, chopped up or something to that affect since this app was served with pita, but no. The olives were whole and felt out of place. You couldn't use the pita with the olives because the olive would roll right off. Definitely do not recommend this appetizer at all!
