Wow, beautiful theater! Even upon walking up you can see it's beautiful styling in the marble and ticket window. Just inside is an amazing, beautiful dome entry foyer. Concessions sold at a folding table (weird). Once inside it is interesting. There's a lower terrace level with tables for groups. And for certain events bar service. Then there are seats low & close to the screen in what is probably an orchestra pit. Going up from there, are angled seating. This place was doing stadium seating, since before stadium seating was cool. Not perfectly comfortable seats or cup holders, but good views and a truly beautiful theater as a whole. Very enjoyable, bordering on elegant. Worth checking out pretty much anything!

Had my wedding and reception here. Rented out the whole theater & it was an AMAZING experience. One sentence; you HAVE to visit this place once in your life. To watch a movie, a play/musical, or just to see the beautiful architecture. Most antique & beautiful building in Terre Haute by FAR.More pictures & review to follow.

This is a beautiful and historic theater where many stars of the silver screen have performed. You can now find live performances to entertain you and your family here, from comedians, musicians, to magicians. The only downside is that the seating isnt the best, but Im sure that will eventually improve. I hope one day that this place will consider doing a Terre Hautes Got Talent type of contest/performance on a regular basis.
