We came here for any fuel game and it was really nice. You could tell the place is older and need some updating but honestly, it was very small feeling and fun feeling at the same time if that makes sense I liked our seats. I think it was a nice atmosphere and a good stadium.

Lackluster at best. Not impressed by the location. Animal poop everywhere in parking lot!Attended Katt Williams -Dark Matter Tour, Sat. April 6.The crowd was mediocre and the opening acts semi- entertaining. I've seen Katt Williams before and I was much more entertained by his set. Katt's set was cut short when a fight/tussle broke out in the rafters. Katt quickly exited stage left and announced "Good Night". I don't blame him. I blame the effing idiots that can't sit through a comedy show without acting out. It was not worth my weekend travel from Chicago, hotel, car rental, gas and time or ticket prices. I most definitely won't spend money to see any show in Indianapolis again. Trash

The state fairgrounds are great pleased to host events. It's very clean. The lines were orderly and people are cheerful. It was an awesome event going to see oddities and curiosities today.

Throughout the years I have seen lots of shows -sports- 4H and other events etc in this venue. Tonight it's for a Fuel Hockey game. Always a good time! It's probably the last venue with tickets that do not cost an arm and a leg, so it's good for families with children. The seats all have good views. The rest rooms are clean and well stocked. The staff are kind and welcoming. Check it out

Love seeing the Fuel play. Always a good time. Beers aren't cheap but that's ok. The pizza is really pretty good. Perfect for a lite dinner during a period break. Bring a sweatshirt as it's cold for the games. Fun time win lose or tie.

On my first visit to the Farmers Coliseum, we were there to watch an IUPUI basketball game. Our principal was being honored at halftime for being Principal of the year. Everything went well and the game was enjoyable. The only negative that day was that the concessions were so expensive and it was a special education day. A lot of kids can't afford those prices. (I would normally expect those prices at a college game concession stand.) The second time was also a field trip, but this time to a hockey game. It seemed that the planning was not as good for this game. We missed half of the first period of the game because of the way busses were being allowed to drop students off, and the concession stand was a mess. There was no marked way for the line to go, and it was a mob of people (chaperones with multiple students) crowding in, trying to move up and remain together. Despite these two issues, the game was fun, and having an education day for hockey is a wonderful opportunity for our students. The facility is nice, and even the upper deck seats have a good view. Overall, a good experience.

I've been here for two hockey games and they're so much fun! It's small enough to watch closely but has a great size for a good crowd! There's a Jose Cuervo bar that is spacious. We came for Blackhawks night and it was packed and they had a great intro for the night including autograph signings and Jim Cornelison singing the National Anthem.

Its a venue so hard to rate. Food and drink is typical for ballparks. Prices are reasonable. Parking is a challenge if you have to park in the oval. Expect delays exiting if the crowd is large. Seats are average but its small enough that all seats are good for viewing events.

The Farmers coliseum is a multi-functional venue nestled in the middle of the state fairgrounds. I've been to this place for a variety of things including:- concerts- horse shows- hockey matches - derby matches- etcThey renovated it over the last few years and it's great! The A/C in the summertime is very helpful when you go to the fair and see animal shoes. The concerts aren't the best or my favorite by any means, but they do the job. And the sporting events are also fun. A good venue, nothing amazing. Parking is usually a pain trying to leave, but at least it's inside the fairgrounds and in a fenced in area!

The husband and I went to our first Indy Fuel Game Last night, December 17, 2021. We looked so forward to it as it was our anniversary and we were anticipating having a lot of fun. We went hungry because it was an all you can eat night and popcorn was on the menu. We arrived in time -driving through horrible cold misty rain and found a parking spot about three blocks from the entrance to the Coliseum. Since it was raining we had carried our umbrella on our three block walk. Upon entry we were met with metal detectors and purse searches. Immediately I was told my purse was too big to carry in and was informed I wouldn't be allowed in with it. I was informed this by some guy who looked like he hadn't had a bath in about a week and smelled like it. When I told him it it conformed to the policy on the website he, again, told me it wasn't allowed. I again informed him it was allowed according to the website protocol. Another "security" person, a large, rude, woman was summoned and she told me I can take my purse back to my car or leave and not come back. So rude. So disgusting. My husband walked the three blocks back to our car, locked my purse in it and returned to the entrance. While I was waiting for him to return I noticed several woman carrying purses that were larger than mine. The purse size rule is it has to be smaller than 14x14x4". Mine measured 9x8x3". Husband returned from the purse-locking up drenched because-no umbrella was allowed either. So our fun night is off to a crappy start. We went to our section where we were met with a worker who wanted to show us to our seats. He tried to tell us our seats were in one place when, clearly, he was wrong. If your staff can't figure out their ABC's please don't hire them. We found our seats in row D, section 200 and found out the people seated behind us had a cowbell! I guess loose metal objects are allowed after all! Cowbell lady proceeded to ring the damn thing constantly. How fun is this! We had a cold hamburger, stale popcorn, and paid $6 a piece for a soda. We bought a 50-50 ticket because the youth hockey deserves the support and we're glad to contribute. After the game, we walked three blocks, in the even harder pouring rain, no umbrella, and we're soaking wet when we got to our car. Thanks, Indy Farmers Coliseum. We won't be back to watch an event in your venue. We won't spend our money supporting rude people, inconsistent policies, and lousy food. Too bad the team didn't enjoy a full house last night because they won. They deserve it a standing room only crowdUnfortunately, they won't get better attendance with people like this making it miserable for those of us who don't want to be treated rudely or so inequitable.
