loved our stay at Hotel Indy! the reception & valet staff were very welcoming & helpful. the onsite restaurant, cafe & cocktail bar were fun additions! they also have a very well equipped on-site gym. our room was very clean and everything was in working order, the room came with a well stocked mini-bar & snack selection. the hotel was also very centrally located within downtown Indy with all of our destinations being within a 4-10 minute drive. will definitely stay here again next time we're in town!

Great hotel located in the heart of downtown Indianapolis, Indiana. Clean, modern, bars with great selections of food, and surrounded by lots of great restaurants and shops. Friendly staff, no issues with check in or checking out, and the room was great! Would definitely stay here again if in the area!

Had an excellent experience in Indianapolis while staying at the Hotel Indy. The hotel is a converted office building that feels both modern and well thought out for business travels. The on-site amenities include a well equipped gym, beautiful roof top cocktail lounge, and wonderfully staffed restaurant. I highly recommend. The quibble is that the local is right by the bus line which can be noisy but this should be expected in a major city.

So I will preface this and once again say that yes, Indianapolis as a city has grown over the years, and has drastically increased thanks to conventions a wide variety of different hotel brand types. Indianapolis I would consider a second tier market, meaning a Tribute in Indianapolis doesn't really match up to the offerings in say New York, Chicago, or Denver. From Marriott's branding , a Tribute Hotel is "a family of independent boutique hotels bound by their Indie spirit and heart for connecting people and places". In other words, it might be not a cookie cutter, but you are going to pay for it.Highlights:+/- Location- I am torn by this as it is within walking distance to the Circle and even Mass Ave, many people might take issue with it being directly across from the main bus terminal. I see this more as a negative, as this more has to do with noise. +/- Price - If you get an extremely cheap rate, go for; however, anything over $200 to me is really pushing it. +/- Rooms - Thanks to status, I was able to get a larger upgraded 2 queen room;however, space varies by room type so you may get a tighter squeeze. This is the old State Life Insurance Company building, so the rooms have high ceilings and thick concrete walls- Noise - They could honestly have invested in thicker windows. Look, Delaware street generates a noise echo, so I would recommend staying in a room that is facing towards Pennsylvania - Parking- Valet your only option unless you find alternative self parking in one of the garages. It is $44/night. They have a small lot directly attached to the hotel for Valet and seemed to use the garage directly across from the hotel on Washington to park cars in as well.+ The downstairs lobby has a row of smaller tables to sit in. + The Hulman is the restaurant onsite , as well as there is an upstairs rooftop lounge called Cannon Ball. One thing to note on Cannon Ball is that it can get full to capacity on nicer evening during the weekend.Tips: *** Entry to the Valet is off of Virginia and can be some what of a pain in the ass to get into due to how small the lot is, especially if there are a few cars already in the lot waiting to be parked/picked up** There was a room with a hydration station for water (sparking/tab) on some floors**If you want snacks or to not pay for drinks through the restaurant or bar, Whole Foods in a short walk away.Overall: It's an option if you are brand loyal to Marriott, but there are many other hotels (Marriott included) that provide a better value for the price point for the rates they charge.

First, the majority of the front desk staff for the most part were very friendly but there were some that wouldn't even speak to you, even when making eye contact. This morning when checking out, the front desk agent was nice but didn't even ask how my stay was...I guess because I'm leaving. Who knows. I honestly thought this would be a great location to stay but I got absolutely zero rest here. Sure the bed was nice and soft, the pillows were too soft for me, the bathroom was spacious, but it sounded as if the Indianapolis 500 was outside of my room the entire trip. You can literally hear vehicles driving, revving their engines, testing out their mufflers all through the night. I know the hotel has to be aware of the sounds because when I was coming back into the hotel one day one of the front desk agents asked me how my stay was going and I told her about how I couldn't rest; she offered me earplugs. I do not want to have to sit in a hotel room that is over $205 a night, no hot water in the sink (room 604) and wear earplugs just to sleep. You know it's bad when you can hear the traffic over the television in your room. The Hulman restaurant that's connected to the hotel was just OK, but don't get their chicken pesto. It was too dry. The menu had changed the day I ordered and the service wasn't aware of how to ring things up. This hotel doesn't have a market place in it either for easy access to drinks and snacks during the visit. The hotel was very clean, the rooms with the furniture and decor looked dated (minus the shag carpet), but the noise level ruined my stay. For my next trip here I know I WILL NOT be staying at the Hotel Indy.

Came to check out this hotel and was so impressed booked a room while I was there for next month. It's conveniently located downtown. Walking distance to Gainbridge field house and the mall. They have $12 valet parking which is really reasonable. Unfortunately the weather was cold so I was not able to check out their rooftop bar. I plan on it when I stay there.Tried the sungold tomato marmalade with house made ricotta cheese. The cheese melts in your mouth served with a crispy baguette. The combination is a perfect savory treat with the tomato basil vinegar covering the cheese. Had it with their take on an old fashioned. These two things went well together. Can't wait to stay the night and try dinner and see the rooftop area.

Wow...what a beautiful hotel! Came here with 3 other couples for a duo birthday celebration. All three couples got a room. The room was beautiful and artfully decorated. The front desk was really sweet. The valet was a bit overpriced at $45. There were nice comfy robes in the room for guests to use but if take one home it'll cost you $100! The room comes with a Keurig for coffee however snacks in the room will cost you!! The bed was very comfortable and we were greeted with an amazing sunrise view in the morning. The crew and I also spent our evening at the Cannonball Lounge...a beautifully decorated space with a fun dj who rocked old school jams all night. I can't wait to come back during the summer to checkout the views from the balcony!Hotel Indy is definitely a fun luxury addition to the Indianapolis downtown scene.

A beautiful hotel with extremely personable staff. The decor is super modern work cool ceilings. There is a Hydration Station so you can fill your own water bottle. The location is perfect if you're hitting a Pacers game. It's so close that almost anyone could walk. It's also walking distance to several restaurants. There is a restaurant and a bar onsite but I didn't visit either. You have to valet your car for $45 which I think is pretty typical for downtown.

Nicely done, Hotel Indy! They have been open all of 3 days and they have nailed every aspect of what I consider a nice cocktail lounge. Located on the 6th floor of the new Hotel Indy this bar is a rooftop with craft cocktails with a view. There is a fair amount of seating all with gorgeous views. Sat at the bar and the bartenders were all super knowledgeable about their liquor which included many locals. They have a small menu for food but also a restaurant down stairs. The music is soothing, the vibe is cool, the prices are decent. Definitely place I will frequent. Well done!
