Large menu, large portions, friendly staff, EXCELLENT food, reasonable prices. For a quick lunch I had the cheese and chili combo. It was perfect for a quick, lite lunch. My buddy had a double cheeseburger and fries. The burger was huge, my big eating friend couldn't finish it. I usually get breakfast. The bowls and skillets are perfect for great breakfast combinations. Almost everything is served with pancakes which is a great away to end breakfast. They can be heavy but they are good. There is plenty room for small groups to a table of 8. They are always busy but I've always found a table! Daily specials are always a good deal too.

The food was bomb, the inside of the store gave clean and sanitary. Our waitress was very polite and even helped choose what to eat since we were indecisive. I'd give this place a 10/10 overall.

Although this is so close to home and we drive by often, we hadn't noticed it. After trying to grab brunch at a couple of other spots that were closed, we searched for nearby restaurants and this was in the results - those other restaurants were closed for a reason. Food was plentiful and delicious and the server was attentive.My only complaint was there were too many options and it was hard to decide. Will definitely be back!

Wanted to frequent some of the local businesses for breakfast. This restaurant has been cited numerous times through feedback for providing quality meals for breakfast but I wanted to give it a try first hand. I ordered one of my favorites for breakfast Chicken Fried Steak that was made to perfection! The order came with scrambled eggs and cheese that was okay but tasted better than it looked. And of course you must get toast to round out the breakfast. It was simple but filling more than enough to share if you wanted to. I was seated immediately without waiting and the waitress did an excellent job ensuring my visit was memorable and I was a first class guest. Access to the restaurant is visible via the plaza but parking could be an issue if the restaurant gets crowded. A great visit and I would encourage and recommend this restaurant if you get the opportunity and want a tasty breakfast.

We chose this place because my nieces and nephew wanted to check out a new place they've never been to since I'm visiting. We walked in and were immediately taken to our booth. The restaurant has an extensive menu with lots of choices of breakfast and lunch items. It took me a while to try to focus on something to get. There were several items that I wanted to try from the breakfast and lunch section. I chose the Hungryman Skillet, my nephew had the pancakes with sausage links from the Just For Kids section. My nieces had the Jalapeno Cheese Burrito and the Spinach, Bacon, and Swiss Omelete. The Hungryman Skillet was delicious with hash browns, onions, green peppers, ham, bacon, sausage and country gravy with two eggs any style on top. I chose to have my eggs sunny side up. The pancakes I sampled from my nephew was delicious. The service was great, our server and other servers frequently checked up on us asking how our meals were and topping off the coffee. I'll definitely try this place out again when I'm back in Indianapolis.

The service at hotcakes was top notch! Our server was SO attentive and was constantly refilling our coffee... I left buzzing! We had a breakfast platter with eggs & biscuits and gravy. The gravy was just okay, could use a lot more flavor or even real sausage mixed in. The eggs were on par. I also had the strawberry cheesecake pancakes. They were great! The pancakes had a good flavor all on their own and then they top it with cream cheese and strawberry glaze. The sweetness was delicious if you like that type of breakfast!Plenty of seating inside as well as some outdoor seating which I don't feel like is super common for breakfast places. We will be back to try a few different food items!

This place is a hidden treasure. Not sure how long they've located here nor how many times I've rode past and missed it but it's delicious! The waitresses are nice and accommodating. The pancakes were light and fluffy. The omelette literally had a taste of the bacon, spinach and Swiss in every single bite. Go check them out at Hotcakes Emporium you will thank me.

The place is fairly new. The waitress was nice but outside of that everything was terrible. The food waa overcooked and bland. The bacon was not overcooked but I requested it crispy and it waa translucent and bendable. The coffee no matter when she topped my cup off was cold. I was very disappointed because I used to go when the place was on Ditch Rd and it was always soooo good. I have no desire to go back here. My pancakes we so hard on one side when I tried ro cut them I couldn't so I had to rake off the soft part to eat. We also ordered a skillet meal..the food in the skillet had several different temperatures going and the sautéed onions and peppers were extra crisp & cold. I believe there may have also been a language

Huge variety of items makes it hard to decide but all the food was delicious and the service was great.

Today I attempted to eat a pancake emporium on pendleton pike Indianapolis and ordered the chicken wrap and Tortilla soup. I was only able to take two tastes because on the second taste I pulled a long piece of plastic out of my mouth soaked with the red soup. It turned my stomach. I asked for waitress and stated this was in my soup and asked what it looked like and she said. Plastic. I sent the entire dish back. Neither the manager, chef or server came to apologize and offer any accommodation besides not charging me (I didn't eat so how could you charge me). I would and all customers should expect more from a well recognized restaurant. We'll today was it. No more of my business! WATCH WHATS IN YOUR FOOD PLEASE.
