Horst's Little Bakery Haus

Stopped in here several times while visiting Madison. Fast, friendly service and good donuts! I had chocolate covered, custard filled. One was very filling!

First morning they got us Dunkin. You know what that's like. But how if they were close enough to this place could you even live with yourself and go to Dunkin?I don't even consider myself a huge donut person. But wow. They convinced me to try the bacon donut. I was blown away. So I had another kind and another kind. I ate 3 donuts. These are not small. If I lived in this area I think I would be enormous.

Such a lovely group of people! My grandsons and I arrived fifteen minutes before closing, the case was empty but they were able to hook us up from the box they had packed for the group working to open a new business next door.

My favorite bakery since I was a kid!!! Lots of memories of my parents and grandparents surprising me with these donuts on random Saturday mornings. They are SO GOOD!!!

This is one of the few breakfast joints/bakeries in Madison, but it is a good one. They have the standard sausage/bacon/egg/toast offerings. But make sure you save room for a donut from the pastry case.

Timeless staple in Madison! We love our Horst bakery, everyone is always so friendly and welcoming. Plus the donuts, muffins, and cookies are amazing! If you're ever in Madison give Horst a try, you will not be disappointed.

Well I really do t know if the food is good since we didn't have an opportunity to dine here. They say they are open until 11 so my wife and I dropped in to get eggs or an omelet. We got there at 1015. When we walked in the door we were informed they just shut the grill down. If they say they are open until 11 shouldn't they keep the grill on until 11?

Cute little spot, quiet and great service.Got an omelette and my fiancé got a day maker.

Very friendly service, no frills, just good basic breakfast. They also have a very tasty doughnut counter.

So lame! Website says open Monday's 5-11:30am well NOPE ITS CLOSED waste of time, Such a disappointment!!
