Hoosier Routes

Hoosier Routes is a treasured small town gem off the beaten path. Food is exceptional. Service is just as you might expect from a small town- they take care of you like family. Warm and welcoming vibe. Dressings and dips are homemade. Soups are also homemade and rotate every week. I'm not one to usually order soup when I go out to eat but at HR I almost always have soup as a side dish.

Food, ambiance and service were all great. Must try their steak salad. One of the best I ever had!

Ive been here twice, and after each time, all i can think about is when I'll be going back. The restaurant has original brick walls, vintage pictures of the town and is wRm and inviting. Excellent service, and the owners come to each table to make sure everything is ok. The food is outstanding. I had short ribs that were falling apart tender, mashed potatoes and well-seasoned green beans. Also side salad that was very crisp and fresh. If you are in the mood for a small town with wonderful food, do t hesitate to make the trip.

Very cute restaurant, great food and friendly staff! This was our first time trying this restaurant. I had the tenderloin Manhattan w/ country green beans. So good! The tenderloin was very tender, seasoned well and the breading was done well. Gravy had great flavor. The green beans were seasoned with onion and bacon, had a slight sweetness. My husband had the salmon patties with mashed potatoes and potato soup! He loved the soup said it was very creamy and had great flavor! He said the Salmon patties were good as well. Our waitress Tiffany was very kind, answered my questions and gave an honest opinion when asked about menu items. Staff seemed to care about our experience and wanted to make sure we were being taken care of. They did a great job being helpful without hovering! All of us enjoyed our food! We will definitely be back.

Great food and service. Stopped in for lunch and had a breaded tenderloin and it was delicious. Prices were fair as well. Nice place to stop in and have a bite

So nice to see a great little restaurant in Summitville. The downtown is growing and making a comeback with two new businesses. What a great burger! service with a smile, nice atmosphere inside with outside patio seating as well. good comfort foods.

Likely the best broasted chicken in East Central Indiana. Quaint atmosphere friendly and attentive staff

They had a good thing going with a steak salad and a few of us drove from Muncie to get it but they got rid of it. BRING IT BACK!

Went to Hoosier Routes for the first time with our church group on Wednesday, September 25th. The food was great. We received it just the way we ordered it. The service was top notch. Our waitress was Lilly and she handled 18 people with no problem. She was courteous, friendly, and on the ball. Never had to ask for a refill as she was right there with refills. I told her the service was some of the best we have ever had. It was a very enjoyable lunch. Thanks for making our day so great.
