More like a breaded tenderloin chip. $8 for this and a small bag of Lays.
Steak sandwich w/ broccoli salad

This bus was parked in Irvington during a concert I went to at the Irving. Most of the food is kinda "State Fair" meets munchies. Bags of chips, cans of sodas, really delicious seasoned fries, stuff in a bun and...stop the truck...EMPANADAS! I loved the empanadas. The bus looks cool and the lady in the window was friendly. Prices were affordable. To be clear...this is not a sit-down restaurant...it is an old short school bus with a snazzy paint job which serves the food out of a window.

This review will be short, because it's been so long, I don't remember exactly what I ordered. What I do remember is the fries being so tasty and with an interesting mix of flavors on them. Staff is very friendly and service is fast. When I remarked that I was curious about the pulled pork, owner overheard me and came out with a pork laden spoon for me to sample. Yum, yum, get you some!!

Was outside of my work today, literally worst breaded tenderloin I have ever had. It said it came with lett, tom, pickle, onion, mine had lettuce on it only. I thought the box was empty it was so light, it was the thinnest, measly tenderloin ever. HOOSIER in the name you would think it would be like 99% of the other breaded tenderloins in the state. Would not recommend and would not go to again. I paid $8 and I honestly feel like I go ripped off with the worlds smallest tenderloin chip. Maybe its a new thing tenderloin chips! If you don't care enough about the quality of your product why own a food truck? Look at the pic and see for yourself!

I can't believe this place only has 3 reviews!! The woman at the window was off her rocker nice in this blistering 91 degree weather, parked in the shade by the War Memorial. The short bus is, visually, my favorite of all the food trucks sprouting up around town. The painting on the side is incredible and it's a short bus! I ordered the Amelia's Pablano Steak Sandwich and broccoli salad. The sandwich came piled high with meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato, awesome pickles, and pablano pepper sauce. The sandwich was deliciously messy, with sauce running down both of my arms and on my jeans. Now I know why this was served up with a wet wipe tucked under the basket liner. I was sitting on the curb, so I suggest opting for a table with this sammie. It seems odd, but I was more in love with the broccoli salad. It could have been b/c it was so ungodly hot outside and the broccoli salad was so cold or b/c it was just that freakin good. Bacon, broccoli, onion, cheddar cheese, mayo, tomatoes. When their powers unite stand back people. While I waited and sized up the steady stream of customers, I heard a lot of people ordering the refreshing shrimp salad. Might have to be next on my list upon my return visit.

Aw, Hoosier Fat Daddy! I love their variety of things to try- the ham sandwich I had there was super, and their pulled pork, and I love their homemade pickles- sweet and hot and addictive. I wasn't crazy about the empanadas, but they made up for it by having the hugest freeze and eat popsicles I'd ever seen. And their brownies are little bites of paradise. I can't eat here all the time, because I'll outgrow my fat pants, but when I do eat here, I'm a happy camper.

They had a fairly limited menu the day they came by my workplace (which is AWESOME, thanks guys!), but the salmon burger was delicious, and even the cole slaw, which for all I know came out of a can, was tasty and chopped finer than I'm used to, which gave it an interesting texture. Together they made a nice-sized meal for me, and for a reasonable price. I hope they come back so I can try some of their other items. (I also hope they got a reasonable turnout from our building, they're the second food truck that's come by, and I'd love to see the trend continue.)

Worst food and service I have ever had from a food truck. I was fooled by the detailed decoration of the truck. I figured they would pay just as much attention to their food. I was wrong...

So happy a food truck finally parked outside my building! I've been waiting to try their food and wasn't dissapointed. Two of us ordered the meat loaf with tator tot casserole. The meatloaf came with a ginger mango sauce that was delicious! We also got the jambalaya. It was pretty spicey and they sure didn't skimp on the sausage, chicken and shrimp in it! It didn't look like a lot of food when we got it, but we actually couldn't finish it all it was so filling. Total including a can of soda was around $14. Well worth the wait!

This food truck has come to my work three times this month and today was the first time I ordered from it. I ordered around 11, right after it got there (more on that below), and there were I think only three or four options. I got a tenderloin, a bag of chips and a drink. Total $8. At first the guy said the debit card terminal was down and I almost didn't get it (this was after they put the loin in the fryer), but finally he said it was ok to pay with a card (I rarely carry cash). The couple were nice and hard working. It was a fair size sandwich, but not worth $6 (chips and drink $1 each). I've had better tenderloins that I bought frozen in a package of five at Kroger. I also asked for mayo but, no, the best they could do was tartar sauce. Fish condiments on pork? Luckily I got it early because I heard from a couple other coworkers that the food truck ran out of tenderloins (and/or other sandwiches) around noon, not only today but the last time the truck was at my work. Not cool to disappoint about 100 potential customers at peak lunch time. Also not cool was the tip jar at the counter. I know the couple in the truck work hard but I refuse to contribute to their entitlement. And I was told I wasn't the only one questioning the quality of the product. I'm sure the feedback reaches my work's upper management. I applaud the convenience but I would be very surprised to see Fat Daddy return. If he does, I'll pass.

meatloaf sliders and tater tot casserole. the meatloaf sliders and like those leftover meatloaf sandwich my mom used to make and the tater tot casserole is a mess of cheese and sour cream and bacon and potatoes and delicousness. My wife talked about it for a week after we ate there. It appears everything is freshly made from scratch. Fairly quick and friendly service. Reasonably priced. This is exactly what a food truck should be.
