Hong Kong

First of all, I lived in mainland China and Hong Kong for 11 years. Every Chinese restaurant modifies its menu to cater to American palates, just as you wouldn't believe what pizzas are on a Domino's menu in China! So, it's a matter of degree of modification from the original, right? That said, Hong Kong is by far my favorite Chinese restaurant in Kokomo. They have come through some really bad times, but the flavor of the food is top notch. I love the General Tso chicken (NOT a Chinese dish, originated in NYC), and the hot and sour soup is the best. Beef and broccoli, too. I'd eat their dumplings every day if I could. The prices are reasonable, too. Love this place

Best Chinese restaurant in Kokomo, the staff is very friendly and the food is always delicious. The restaurant is very clean and has a nice area to eat inside. It's the only Chinese restaurant we go to. My favorite meal is the pepper steak with white rice and a egg roll, my husband loves the spicy chicken with rice.

You are better off skipping this experience. I am guessing they are understaffed. Ordering food from this place is almost always a pain in the ass. It is a complete crap shoot on whether or not you will even have your food prepared properly. Save yourself the money and frustration. Order something different

Hong Kong is a small casual fast Chinese takeout restaurant located at the corner of East Markland and South Cooper. The place is order at the counter with an open kitchen. There are a few tables inside for eating in. They also have a drive-up pick up window too. I stopped here for lunch takeout recently. I ordered the L12 Chicken Lo Mein ($4.25 plus tax) served with pork fried rice. The food was all set to go in 5 minutes. The portion size was good and served very hot, packed into a rectangular styrofoam box. The lo mein had a mix of cabbage, onions, carrots, tender boneless chicken pieces tossed with soft lo mein noodles. The fried rice (yellow color) had a firm texture with a mix of peas, carrots, onions, and few small pieces of pork. Overall, lunch at Hong Kong was pretty good and priced reasonably.

Hong Kong is truly one of my family's favorites when wanting some Chinese food,I've only been in the store once due to we always get our food delivered but the one time we went in which was only to pick up our order,the restaurant was very clean and the lady the owns this establishment was very kind and her sunny disposition and humor had my kids laughing and joking the whole time we waited for our food. Their Crab Rangoons are the best!

Let me start by saying I loved this place before it had it's fire. I have ordered the same thing for years but the last two times they managed to mess it up.i ordered hiuse fried rice NO veggies extra beef, shrimp add egg, well I don't really see extra beef and there's a lot of veggies. The egg drop soup have no flavor and is watery, the crab Rangoon sauce lacks flavor. The rice tastes like plastic. I called to complain they wanted me to come get new order, I live over 30 minutes away I will not be going back. And the prices have gone through the roof since the fire and the quality has been lacking.

Horrible food and customer service. Order was over $50. Eggrolls were pre-made and frozen before cooked. The inside wasn't cooked. Contacted the restaurant for them to fix. They said they would replace. Got the restaurant they refused to and offered to recook the eggrolls were hadn't try. Also chicken tasted old and freezer burned.

The food is very good. It is a pleasant and clean restaurant. The prices are reasonable. I keep going back.

Excellent Food, really nice service at a great price. The staff is concerned about the quality of service and food which makes it an amazing combination. I am happy to find the vegeterian dishes seasoned so well.

Awesome food great price. Love coming here and will be back. Enough food for three meals. Best Chinese food around.
