Had a decent stay at this Homewood suites. The check-in was seamless. The lobby area was beautiful and had a wonderful fire going in the background. They also serve a free complementary breakfast every day. They served HotHot, as well as cold selections including fruit, eggs, chicken, bacon, sausage, cereal, a bread station and much much more. The coffee each day was actually excellent, which was a surprise because many hotels do not have good coffee. When I walked in the room, it had a weird kind of smell as if maybe water or an animal had previously stayed in the room, but after turning on the air, the smell subsided and it was fine. The room was clean. They're supposed to do service every other day, but I stayed for three nights and never got any service. I did request extra towels which they brought to the room immediately. They would've got a five star because the expectations for the level of hotel this hotel was met until the end because on the last day someone from maintenance tried to enter my room twice, even though not only did I have the snooze sign on the door, but I also asked for a late check out. I did not appreciate the maintenance man banging on my door, very loudly and aggressively and then trying to enter. If I had not had the lock on the door he would've been able to gain entrance into my room and that was scary. The property is a good value because it is so spacious and based on the location being so close to Keystone. You can literally walk to restaurants such as Ruth Chris And several others. The mall, cheesecake, factory, and many other places are only about a mile away from the hotel, so the location is great. For the value, I will return.

If there was a negative rating, I would give it. The physical and structural damage is quite evident. The breakfast wasn't edible. The only way the toilet flushed is if you hold the handle down for a minute. The moment you let up, it stops flushing. Two consecutive nights of no sleep due to the herd of elephants above the room.

This hotel has an arrangement with a surgery center nearby that they do not honor well. I called the week before to make the reservation when I found out the date for the surgery and was assured i would have a handicapped accessible room. I called the desk the day before the procedure when I found out the time of the procedure and was assured i would have a handicapped accessible room and it would be available early. . . We were surprised when we arrived to find that the handicapped accessible rooms were given away to someone else. We also had to wait for a room on the first floor that they called handicapped accessible. The room had no roll in shower and no bars. The toilet is low with no bars. If I need to sit on the toilet i was assured access to a handicapped toilet in the main building.I was told i could find another hotel and cancel my reservation with no penalties. I had just had a cornea transplant so I was in no position to shop around. Do not trust this hotel to give you the room you need even if you are assured of the handicapped accessible room. I hope that this is not the policy of the Hilton hotels. For us who need ADA compliancy beware of this hotel and its promises!

Needs a major overhaul! My friends and I checked in for a few days for a getaway. The lobby is absolutely gorgeous! But don't let that fool you. We were in building 3, which was incredibly challenging to find. By the way, building 3 is the only building with an elevator. The hallways in building 3 are all tore up, need a paint job and new carpet. Out of the three rooms we reserved. My room was the best. The furnishings were dated, scratched, and had stains. The bathroom had mold. The room was incredibly musty!I will say that the refrigerator was clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable and they had a lot of tv channels. My friends in the next room had an ok room except for the fact the closet door was leaning against the wall versus hanging in the frame. Classy! My others friends had to move their room as there were spiders in the room, carpeting was wet in random spaces, the door to the parking lot was broken and the water in the shower wasn't wired properly. Water was hot or scalding. The staff weren't friendly.Pool is incredibly small. I do not recommend staying here. Plenty of other hotels in Indy!

DON'T STAY HERE!! I am a Hilton Gold member and have stayed in many, many Homewood properties, but this is truly dire! The rooms are in horrible need of basic repairs! There was mold visible on the ceiling where the "air conditioning" (which never made it under 70°F) was blowing. There was also mold encased around the shower bars. The MOST aggregious problem was management's response to the unwrapped and used condom left in the drawer of the night stand. We left the room and called the front desk asking for the condom to be removed. Brianna did ask if we wanted to switch rooms, but in my experience these kinds of issues in one room are going to be evident in all rooms. When we returned to the room... the condom was STILL THERE?!?!?!! I called again from the room and was told by Brianna that she wasn't sure if maintenance could enter the room?!! [I feel the call I made from outside the hotel asking it to be removed was permission enough?] Finally, a man came and threw it in the toilet, washed his hands, and then proceeded to explain it was from a woman that had stayed in the room before us.(Why he felt this needed to be explained is a mystery, and how he knew that was a disturbing thought.) I had a sleepless night as I thought about the lack of housekeeping and wondered if the bed was clean or the room was cleaned. I contacted Hilton and was referred back the the property manager. I had used points to stay in this property and requested the return of those points for another stay but was told I could stay at the same hotel again (NO THANKS!) I've been told since that there are many, many travel leagues with groups of children that have destroyed the rooms, but it appears that this is more of a long stay hotel for those unable to rent or lease. Do yourself a favor and stay down the road there are PLENTY of other hotels, even other Homewood Suites in the area that are clean and safe!

As soon as we got in the room got the can of Lysol out and the Clorox wipes. The upholstery was nasty stained and dirty, the bathtub was yellow inside. We booked a room with a fireplace that had no gas logs, called the front desk and they said they have no logs felt like we were in a cabin, bring your own logs, WHAT!!! The so called breakfast was not fit for human consumption and when we checked out early we had one of the rudest people you could deal with. One word for this place, nasty.

Avoid, there is no circumstance under which you want to stay here. Room looked like a Dexter scene, see photos. Hope I don't catch a blood-borne or communicable disease from this place. Gym closed due to poor maintenance and water damage, rooms below average with water damage, coffee previously splashed on the walls and pictures, floors dirty, and those are the high points. 4th day in the hotel, and can't figure out how to get the room cleaned. Suitable for nothing more than a refugee camp in a war zone.

This suite felt like a Motel not a Hilton Suites and to charge or $232.83 a night. This was a recommendation from the Indianapolis Dinosaur Museum website on places to stay.First impressions nice off the road feel, lobby looked remodeled in the last 5-7 years.I was asked to sign waver for no smoking and no parties, that should have been my first clue. I received the key and was direct to my location with a map.- First room smell like cigarettes not fresh, old cigarettes like it's been smoked in for years. Had the wife come in to confirm. We are not smokers, and this was unacceptable to stay. - Drove back to the lobby. Desk clerk informed me "not everyone follows the rules". Received the new room and key card and proceeded to the second room. Smelled like a wet dog, something was splashed on the wall across the picture, but was never cleaned up. Lamp shade was dented and stained with maybe same stuff on wall. The veneer was peeling from kitchen cabinets. The kitchenette table laminate was bubbling up off table, floor receptacle in main room had a hole the size of a quarter where my son could have put his finger in it. I never went any further to the unit as if was not acceptable. So headed back to the lobby.- This time Manager on shift came out heard my complaints and proceeded to give me a third unit key. Walking to the unit second floor bird poop everywhere and it's been there for a while. I walked into veneer cabinet peeling again on kitchen cabinets. The suppled dishes were wet and still in the dishwasher. The refrigerator looked like it was wiped down with a greasy rag and it was just smeared whatever it was all over it. Couch had large black stains all over the cushions and front edge. The bathroom sink was completely cracked and spiderwebbed across. Shower was filthy with soap dish completely missing from the shower and dirt or mold growing on where it was previously. Bathtub facet was so nasty like nobody has cleaned it in months. Oh yeah, forgot to mention the dry dog food scattered on the kitchenette counter.Went back up asked for the Manager again, explained the situation of the third room. I Told her we will not be staying and asked to not charge for room. She complied and understood. I was totally disappointed in my experience.

The light switches were disgusting. Door frames, counters, tables, floors had not been cleaned in a long time. Most of the light fixtures had missing or non-working bulbs. Very disappointed in this Hilton property.

Where is the zero star rating? Pros: convenient location, friendly staffCons: Dirty, dirty, dirty. Sticky table, filth on the floor between the fridge and wall, dishwasher and fridge doors had stains and needed to be cleaned. Someone's gummy bear on the floor, Sprite bottle under the pull-out couch with a mystery liquid in it. It certainly did not look like Sprite and we did not touch it. Lots of dust and someone else's hair on the lampshade. The kitchen cabinets are all banged up. The bathroom is in desperate need of repair. Slow flushing toilet, low lighting, slow draining tub, next to zero ventilation so it always felt wet and drippy in there. We had family in another room. Amongst their similar complaints, they had a light fixture dangling from the ceiling. It took multiple calls and trips to the front desk to finally have a handyman come to the room on day of departure 0/10 do not recommend
