Home Run Burger

I was a bit skeptical, but hunger struck while picking up my dog's epilepsy medications. My partner and I decided to try HRB, excited about the possibilities. I'm giving HRB a 4 star bc I can appreciate why people would enjoy the mushrooms on the mushroom Swiss burger, but they were absolutely not for me. The sweetness was not my vibe. HOWEVER the chili cheese fries were absolutely STUNNING and will be my go-to when I want chili cheese fries (try and stop me!)I will go to try their black and bleu burger, but if that isn't tasty -- I'll just stick with those fries!

I'm giving 2 just for the service the guy who took our order was great new what he was doing and talking about even had the whole menu memorized, the food on the other hand was less that stunning the #4 said it had sllaw on it and you can see it in the picture in the menu but was missing, bun was mushy the fries were old not even fresh, the burger seemed to be reheated wether or not it was for no one being in there but us it was warm at best the #1 was warm at best the fries was old and the chili cheese mixture was bland and Luke warm at best the drink machine was flat like they was cutting back on the syrup no napkins but at the front no condiments on the table, no superstar taste exploding in my mouth it was really disappointing because I have heard better things but for the 30 dollars I spent on 2 meals I should have a more experience when there are other options close byMaybe in a few weeks I'll bring myself back but very disappointed, hopefully if you try it your experience maybe better

Friendly service at the counter. She made suggestions on what to try. Went with the 1. Burger was ok, nothing to write on about. The fries are that sane from Penn Station. Great with vinegar on them. Had food decor around. Seemed clean. Not bad over all. Probably will stop in again and give it another try.

Poor service, slow, messy, and the food was nearly inedible. This is a poor excuse for an eating establishment. I hope they close and get the Dairy Queen back.

I stopped by this burger joint while commuting for work and hungry for lunch. I didn't want any fast food and the building signage claimed everything was made to order. My hamburger came out fresh and hot, though there are many free toppings to choose from, I went with grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, lettuce, and the home run sauce. The toppings were placed on very sparse. Josue was very thorough and kind in assisting me with my first time here. The area outside was clean. I will be back if in the area again.

My bf and I decided to check this out last night and it was a huge mistake. We literally sat in the drive thru for 45 min and there were maybe 4 cars total in the entire drive thru. We should have just left and gone across the street to McDonald's lol.We got the #7 bacon and bleu combos and the only thing they had going for them was that the food was hot but tasted pretty bland and I think there was one small piece of bleu cheese and that was it and the bacon was bacon bits

Lunch today was at Homerun Burger. This was our first visit to this restaurant. As the name says, it's a burger joint. We had the Thursday special, 2 cheeseburgers and a generous helping of fries. I thought the fries were good, but my wife described them as " just like my mom made". She loved them. They run a special every day. The inside was clean and comfortable and just what you'd expect in a good burger joint.

Wow! Great solid burger and amazing fresh cut fries! Extra hometown feel and fresh! Better option than wendy's across the street! Extra attention to better ingredients especially the pickles! Great customer service!!!

I'm sad that this place has so many bad reviews, and have to assume it's because folks wanted this place to be something more elevated than it is. It's a fast food joint that serves REAL FOOD, cooked to order. Zero frills with the exception of a vague baseball theme (I think we owe that one to being of Louisville origin). Everyone's always been kind and I've never had an order wrong or bad, and I've tortured them with some pretty intense modifications. Lol. My 5 stars is based on a fast food scale, not a general dining scale, because it wouldn't make sense to compare.

I make it a mission to eat at local burger joints, especially when traveling across the country. I'm writing this review for this one reason, of all the hundreds of burger joints I've eaten at across the country, including all the gross cheap fast food joints, this place was the worst tasting burger I've ever had in my life. Whoever is ordering these burgers needs to find a different meat supplier. Whoever is cooking these burgers needs to stop and get trained how to cook a burger. Turning these meat patties into straight up burned rubber tree bark needs to change or this restaurant will not last. Even the egg you put on my burger was completely burned. I'm mean charged black burned.Please make changes and do them now or you will not last. I hate seeing small businesses close but you need to act now or you will.
