Happened in during a Penn State football watch party. What a fun atmosphere! Hot dogs, veggie offerings, sandwiches and pretzels were all great. Soda fountain or Chilly Water Beer....decisions decisions! Mama Tried was the perfect pairing.Fun time, great food, thank you!

Hoagies & Hops is a fun place, especially if you end up there on a day when the Philly Eagles happen to play. The place got very lively - and was chock full - on a Sunday when we went with our knitting group.Service was predictably pretty slow, given the number of patrons in the restaurant. I got a small roasted veggie hoagie with a side of onion rings, which at $17 (including tax and tip) was not cheap, but definitely tasty.Street parking can be difficult, especially on a busy day.

I had been wanting a Philly cheesesteak for two months. I didn't want to cheat myself and go Subway Or Penn Station. I needed a real deal cheesesteak. I'm so glad I didn't settle for anything lesser than. H&H got me right! Bread quality was perfect. I got a mixture of Cooper Sharp and American. The onions were the perfect size and cooked to perfection. The steak was perfectly seasoned, sliced and cooked. I had to earn this cheat meal and it was worth every calorie! Also, the owner is super nice. I didn't see her this time, but every time I do she's super sweet.

I stopped in here really quick one day after work because I heard they had some vegan/vegetarian options so I was excited to try them out. I'm a tad ashamed at how fast I inhaled my hot dog lol but it was so good. I'd also ordered the onion rings which were also tasty. I promptly ordered one to go also. I have been able to return for a 2nd visit and also tried the veggie fries. The flavors of the beer cheese with other veggies go together well but did need a tiny bit of seasoning. The atmosphere was very laid back and they seem to favor a specific city lol. It does have an adjoining bar area on the other side.

Love the proximity to my house this great sandwich place is. As much as I'd to like the uber cheesy and heavy cheesesteak, I much prefer their cheesesteak that is lighter with the lettuce tomato and onion. The subs are super filling - and I love that they have the brewery next door.

Hoagies and Hops may have the best Philly cheesesteaks in all of Indiana. The steak was tender and juicy and the special sausce was incredible. The crinkle cut fries were solid as well. Overall amazing experience.

OK, so we live in Indianapolis, but we crave a really good steak n cheese as we remember it from Philadelphia! Got cha covered. Service was fast and made to order! Ambiance? You feel like you're in a Philly bar with Eagles etc sports teams on the big screens and posters etc. The owners apparently fly in bread and ingredients from Philly so it's all fresh daily. Close your eyes and you feel you're in another city enjoying their food all over again.

I had both provolone and cheese wiz on my sandwich and loved it!Fries were perfectly seasoned! Next time I'll get them with cheese because why not!They have a selection of desserts too. Didn't try any this time but I saw some cookies and Oreo balls that I'll definitely get next time I stop by!This place has been on the Devour Indy selection as well so be sure to check them out!

What I ordered:Blood on the Tracks, Blood Orange IPA, 7.4% - refreshing, nice orange bite! Classic Cheesesteak, with light onion and whiz, crinkle fries with whiz on the side - I've been searching high and low for a cheesesteak that reminded me of Woody's in Atlanta, the search is over, this is it! Love love love! Tender meat, a nice hoagie roll, perfect amount of cheese, did not make bread soggy! Ambiance feels homey, very cute, small place, connected to Chilly Water, a brewery. Service was friendly, pretty quiet in here today. Parking located on either side, does have a ramp for easy accessibility. Sandwiches and sides sold separately
