Very good and would recommend! Stayed at Brookside Cabin. The check in process after hours was good. Make sure you read the process before picking up keys and have papers printed out.Brookside cabin - overall was great and beautiful. The hot tub was a nice touch but did not have temperature controls and was BURNING to get in. With being in the winter we did not get to enjoy the outside beauty of the cabin. They had a fire pit in a beautiful area to walk around. The cabin is right off of the road with some traffic. Bedrooms are in the back and can't here the traffic.The game room was a small pool table but nice. Fireplace was great and heated up the room quickly. Bed were comfortable and bathroom was good. Nice double sink was a great touch. Shower was nothing to write home about.There is a house behind in the woods but private. A couple odd things with the house (Slanted floors, shower head screwed into but but not bad.Overall we enjoyed the experience and would recommend. We might try a different cabin next time.

We rented the Whispering Oaks with two other couples and 1 dog. I have to be honest if I had read some of these reviews, I would not rent the cabin from here. From the first contact I had a good experience, the ladies working the office were very nice and professional. The cabin was beautiful, we so enjoyed the bird feed that we can put into the bird feeder. One complaint is the beds are very worn in and sink in the middle. Overall, a great experience and would do it again.

We have used this rental company more than once and never had a problem with them at all. This memorial Day weekend we rented dogwood crossing. It was very clean, very organized and although minimal had everything we needed to have a great holiday weekend. It is a very quick drive into town. It is a dog friendly cabin. They also have easy trails you can hike with the dogs. They even left food and water bowls out for the dogs. The owners are on site and very friendly. We will definitely stay in this cabin again.

We had a lovely time. The cabin (Almost Heaven) is beautiful, peaceful, and has all the amenities we wanted. Of our four solid days we relaxed the first and fourth days. It's a very relaxing kind of place. We're both disabled and need a relaxing kind of vacation. Tuesday and Wednesday, we spent three hours each day down in Nashville. We have vacationed here I think five times now so we know the town well. Tuesday we ate at Out Of The Ordinary, which has the best BBQ we've ever had. Wednesday we ate at Nashville Dining House, which we thought highly of. We will vacation with you again- we want to come the third week of September every year. We had no issues with cleanliness, the bathrooms, hot tub and kitchen worked. The central air kept it nice and cool. Both beds are very comfortable. It is just past swimming season but the pool was still set up and very clean.

!!!RUN FROM HILLS O BROWN!!! Our family booked "The Log Inn" which is a larger more expensive cabin near downtown Nashville. We paid a premium price of nearly $400 per night for the amenities and location. It was my wife's 50th birthday so we wanted things to be nice. I paid about $175 for a "Happy 50th Birthday" sign which I specifically asked to be placed outside the cabin so she would see it when we arrived. I made these arrangements by phone several days prior. They were to also make a NICE flower centerpiece on main dining table and include a couple of small arrangements in other parts of cabin. The "sign" I discovered was a hand written banner made of construction paper draped inconspicuously on an outdated kitchen island. It looked like a 9 year old made it. The kitchen island countertop wasn't even attached to the cabinets and moved considerably if you bumped up against it. The flower arrangements were ok but certainly not worth what I paid for and I feel I could've done better myself for about $50-$75. This company does the absolute MINIMUM in terms of upkeep and appearance and it's painfully obvious. I noticed our "grill" was a tiny and very dirty charcoal grill not suitable for a cabin with 6 occupants. I didn't expect anything fancy just something a bit nicer and appropriate for what I paid. The fire pit nearby was completely useless, broken apart, dirty, and nothing anyone would want to sit around for an evening fire. Again, don't need anything fancy or even that nice, just provide something practical. This theme continued inside as we discovered the "big screen" TV they advertise is actually a poor quality projection screen TV at least 30 years old. Again, no big deal we didn't come here for TV but please don't mislead people. The stereo was also inoperable. TV's throughout cabin all have to be on same channel because this company is too cheap to supply cable splitters/receivers for the tiny wall mounted, outdated TV's found in other areas. We also discovered some unsavory house keeping from mice droppings in cabinets to the unreasonably filthy furniture containing pet hair, food, and rubbish. STILL, we were undeterred and ventured upstairs to find the pool table unusable because its sandwiched between a wall and railing. Not to mention it was in terrible condition along with the provided equipment. The upstairs air unit didn't work because the filter hadn't been changed and it was caked with dust. This made for a very uncomfortable situation for summer night sleeping upstairs. The master bath had virtually NO pressure in the shower and just came to a trickle. The hot tub area had a massive leak in both of the skylights which pooled near the tub itself. (It rained heavily our first night) This was just dangerous as I found exposed electrical wiring and switches without knobs in the same room. In every room that had carpeting we found it very dirty and stained throughout. This is NOT a $400 per night accommodation by anyone's standards. I immediately brought my concerns to the office the next morning. I spoke with a friendly staff member who looked at all of my phone images, wrote down my complaints, then told me she would see if a 10% minimum discount could be applied. She seemed initially helpful and agreed with all of my complaints. I was satisfied with this resolution even though I felt we deserved closer to a 30%-40% refund or more. Upon arriving home some days later I had to call them back because I hadn't heard anything. This time the tone was a bit different and I was told the manager had been away and would reach out to me as soon as they returned and had time to catch up on their duties. I'm still waiting. Some people may have had great luck with this company but I encourage you not to risk it and book elsewhere. These people have NO IDEA how to manage properties or handle routine maintenance or customer issues of any kind. Fortunately, I live only a few minutes from Brown county and have been coming here since I was a child. Long after my extended family return to the Florida sunshine I'm fully prepared to pursue a FULL REFUND at this point using all legal means at my disposal.

Arrived with friends for a 2 day getaway with plans to watch scary movies, relax and enjoy.Unfortunately non of the three TV's wereworking. The after hours repair person was sent out and thought it was fixed. The next night was the same. We had no TV's for the entire 2 days.Asked for a partial refund and was told they are "unable to refund for the TV problem ".The cabin was not well cleaned and definitely had a mouse problem. I sent pictures to management. That problem was not addressed.I felt that this company is not concerned with keeping their customers happy or keeping their end of the deal. Not sure what the "cleaning "fee goes towards.

If I had to do it over, I would not use this rental company. They do not take care of the properties. We stayed at Heartstone. We arrived on a holiday and were told they would be closed but just use the combo and the rental agency to get your key. We arrived at 3:50 to find the employee saying the cabin is not ready. We got the keys at exactly 4pm, not a second sooner. Check in is at 4-which we thought was at the cabin, not the rental agency! There was mold in the kitchen. Some of the dishes were dirty. The kitchen cabinets were sticky and greasy. The kitchen drawers were dirty. One of the bathtubs was so dirty that the tub would not drain properly. We called and maintenance came out to snake the drain to no avail. It was the soap scum and dirt that needed removed not a snaked drain! All the bath mats were dirty and one of the shower curtains was extremely stained. The shower head in one bathroom was clogged. There were cockroaches on the deck near the hot tub. The furniture had stains. The bed comforters were stained. The grill was dirty and had food stuck on it. The trash had not been emptied outside from the previous renters. Raccoons or something got into it and strewn it all about. We called to let them know and they tried to get us to clean it up asking if it was our trash! There are handwritten notes EVERYWHERE telling you what you can and cannot do! I have a more detailed review of the Heartstone cabin if any one is interested on TripAdvisor. I just am allowed only a certain amount of characters on here plus it is a review about Hills Obrown, not the cabin specifically. I wish I knew how to get a hold of the owners of this cabin!! It had such great potential! Hills Obrown emailed asking me to review my stay. I told them what I thought but, not to my surprise, they did not put my review on their website. They only put the good reviews on their website to deceive vacationers. Plus I was told everything was spelled out in the contract and no refund would be given. Horrible customer service. Do not stay at Heartstone or any of the other cabins they service!

Stayed in October '22 at Endless Options. On our arrival at the cabin we were met with a very large amount of bird dropping on the front porch, rails, and furniture. After unpacking we found that there was no water pressure. I called the office who said they thought the water would be back on before we arrived. They brought us bottles/jugs of water to drink and FLUSH THE TOILETS . Even though you're charged a "cleaning fee" we had to strip the beds, gather up all towels, gather the trash, and make sure everything was "as you found it". Dead bug on the window sills. Filthy ceiling fan. Cob webs through out. Heavy dust through out, and a moldy filter in the coffee maker.

Every time I have used Hills O Brown, they've been super nice and helpful. On the phone especially. Our cabins have been clean, we will use them again, the recent rental cabin we got wasn't as nice as others but it was still clean and it was a good stay. Nashville has a lot of fun things to do. We especially liked the "gem mining" at the Rock Shop, breakfast at The Birds Nest and golf at Salt Creek Gold Resort.

The cabin we rented was far from pleasant. Although it was cleaned very well, we were overcome with a smelly musty scent. My husband is a contractor and it was BLACK MOLD in the kitchen ceiling. The grill was rusty and the pots and pans were old and dirty. The main floor bedroom window would not lock. I am VERY disappointed with my stay and with having to leave 2 days early. I would not recommend staying to anyone. A refund would be appreciated. Lake HIDEAWAY cabin. DO NOT RENT
