This venue is absolutely breathtaking. You must consider this and go out check it out for yourself. Not only is the space stunning with a rustic barn and plenty of options for the ceremony setting, but the staff is incredibly helpful. Jeff, Brad and Christina were always available to answer any questions we had leading up until our day. They went above and beyond to assist with unexpected needs and were always around to orchestrate the entire day/evening. Jeff even pulled me aside during the reception to give me a heads up that the sun was setting and the clouds were turning a pretty pink... I was able to grab the photographer just in time! We are more than pleased with how well everything turned out and our guests loved the place! While its a bit off the grid and out in the country, it's perfect for those looking for a peaceful place that almost has a destination feel to the event without the cost of a destination wedding. We used Nameless Catering for the food and did their BBQ option. Also an excellent choice and they know their way around the venue well. As far as accommodations in Shelbyville go, I would strongly recommend the Holiday Inn. Even though its on the pricey side for the area, its the cleanest and their breakfast buffet is outstanding! I had family that stayed across the road at the Comfort Inn and the place smelled funky and the breakfast was very basic and not fresh.

How does this place not have more reviews!? With as many weddings and events as they do here, more people need to spread the good word! I had the privilege recently of being a guest at my best friend's wedding held here and I wanted to share my thoughts. This venue is absolutely beautiful. The owners are more than flexible when it comes to satisfying the bride and groom's needs not only leading up to the wedding, but also the day of. I know how important it was for the bride to have an intimate ceremony and they were able to accommodate by offering a quaint area near the creek for a much more quiet and romantic moment. I specifically remember during the ceremony that there was a light breeze during the vows and everything was so calm and gorgeous as the leaves in the trees blew quietly. UGH so beautiful! After the short, perfect ceremony, we went into the main barn onsite for the reception. Everything was set up perfectly and the owners and coordinator made sure everything was to the newlyweds liking. I don't think I saw them rest all night! The grounds are manicured to perfection and I know they spray for mosquitoes quite often as well. I believe they are open to working with numerous vendors and are very communicative during the process as you plan your wedding. I know that I accompanied the bride to the venue a few times in the months leading up to the wedding for her to get a better look for decor as well as checking out the bridal suite. You guys...this bridal suite area that they've provided is to die for. A full length (more like floor-to-ceiling) mirror that they have for the bride and bridal party is more than enough along with individual makeup stations so that each gal has her own space. There's a couch as well as private Wifi info available. The bridal suite along with the groomsmen suite is air conditioned and comes with a private bathroom with shower so that you can get ready and take your time if you want to. They have everything you need for a perfect wedding/event and your guests will notice the extra care that's been put in to the venue. But you do have to hurry, they book up fast! :)

Beautiful location. Rude and unprofessional staff. They promote this big beautiful package but in the end they just don't come through. We were promised help, communication, and a memorable time. On our big day we saw no Jeff or Brad. Only Christina....who seemed to be more bothered by us being there then actually "coordinating" which is her job. You pay $3000-$3500 upfront for your big day. They make you write them a check for your deposit. Only to turn around and hand you another bill for $650 more. Ya know to pay for a tent...that they already own. Yes, greed at its finest. If you take away from the money issue and the rude staff the location is amazing for an outdoor wedding. If it rains, suck it up you are on your own!!
