I went there this evening and, I'm not exaggerating, it was inedible. We are getting fast food right now. Everything tasted like it had been sitting out since yesterday, and everything was fishy, even the chicken. We are actually worried about getting food poisoning. We've never left a buffet not satisfied, and it's over $17. Please don't go here.

In town for the weekend from LA, and after a full day of traveling - because of the time difference - we decided we wanted to stuff our faces here. My wife actually planned to eat at the Anaheim location after a Disney trip with some girlfriends, but they ended up changing plans. So when she saw Hibachi Grill was near our lodging for the weekend, eating here sounded like a plan - especially because the price for eating back home was $20. An AYCE spot near Disneyland for a price that is far from commonplace these days? I figured the Indiana location had to be wicked cheap. This is largely the focus here. Value and volume over quality. It is quite easy to be critical about a buffet that doesn't cut it for style and execution. But for $15 AYCE, I believed the place served what it aimed to: plenty of options that might not blow you away, but it all tasted fine enough. And the selections were well tended to, refill-wise. We sat across from a family of six that got to eat out for less than $100. This place gives you plenty to eat if you don't feel like eating at, or cooking at home, and the simple reality is, you could be doing alot worse than Hibachi Grill. I got to try different combinations of new items every time I got up to get a plate. And I was happy enough to keep tasting things until it was time to go home. Yes, mostly everything could use a little hot sauce or salt/pepper to taste, but Hibachi was busy when we showed up. They'll continue to feed people who are more concerned with filling their bellies than eating exceptional food, and the approach seems to work for the operators.

All of the meat was stringing and dry. It was all very overcooked. The sauces had far too much sugar. The seafood was dry and had clearly been sitting there for hours. The hostess that brought our drinks and cleared our plates kept staring at us as we ate. It was creepy. The decor, what there was of it, was drab and old. Worst Chinese food buffet I've been to in quite a while. I definitely won't be back,

Went during the switch over from lunch to dinner the food was mediocre. Food was un seasoned and cold. The restaurant itself was filthy. The floor felt slick as if it was moped with a greasy mope. The selection seems low quality whether a meat or vegetable no seasoning but smothers in sauce. Out of all the Asian buffets in Indiana this one is one of the worst ones.

As the other reviews state, the food used to be way better. It was never the greatest Chinese Buffet but now most of the food lacks flavor. There are some items that just plain taste odd. The sushi is almost inedible.

This place has steadily gone downhill over the years. It is unbelievable nasty, for one thing! It's not a good sign when you go into a place when they first open and there is cocktail sauce dripped into the hard-boiled eggs on the salad bar, for example, or there is raw shrimp mixed up with the raw chicken at the hibachi bar. The ladies' room is so broken-down, filthy and horrible that I have actually had a nightmare about having to use it (I am not kidding, I wish I was). We finally had to stop coming here, and we used to eat here like a couple of times a month. I wish whoever owns it would sell it to someone who would fix it up and offer a decent buffet, because we need one in this area.

it was good service but food was a bit cold and flavorless. I just recommend it for when you are really hungry and only place that is close to you.

Worst food ever. We should have left after looking at the food but we decided to give it a try. The chicken was hard and couldn't bite through it. My daughter had hard pieces of jello she had to pull off. My husband had a piece of meat in his mouth he could not identify. There was raw meat on the counter at room temperature for the hibachi grill. That could not be safe to eat. The place looked dirty and food looked even worse. I will never go back.

The food has consistently gone downhill. I reluctantly went back tonight to give a business a last chance and it was horrible. The sushi looked like a child made it, wasabi was soggy, and every meat I tasted was definitely suspect and did not taste right. A lot of food had turned to mush from being out so long. I try to support local businesses, but I will never return. This was their last chance and they blew it again for the last time.

Take advice from The Journey and UMI on e 86st this food tasted bland dry stringy and the hibachi grill meat was not fresh and brown the frozen shrimp still had ice on it, absolutely nothing was flavorful and bland. Dry and stringy. They serve old food and you do not get what you pay for when everything is horrible like out of the 1980's my husband literally spit food on to his plate because it was horrible he couldn't help it. There are way too many small urban cheap buffets soooo much fresher and better tasting.
