I would give this place a higher rating if they replaced their general manager! he's an absolute jerk. always in a bad mood & very disrespectful. Carter is fantastic! always polite & helpful.lanes are new but the pin setters are in desperate need of replacement.

I am a very casual bowler (VERY) so this review is from that perspective. I've been here for a handful of kids birthday parties, which is perfect for the ages we've been here for (5-10) and I'm sure older kids would enjoy it as well. The pizza is great, staff is friendly and helpful when there are issues. We've been once as a family and it was a little more expensive than I expected with shoe rental, but I can't say I know exactly what the normal cost would be. But the experience was still great, so as long as you plan ahead you'll have a good time.I've never seen the place too crazy busy, but maybe we're just hitting it at the right times.Overall, really nice place to spend some time as a family.

I really like this bowling alley. It has everything you could want in a bowling alley except free daycare for toddlers. I'm kidding about the daycare but everything else is A-OK. On weekdays before 5 pm, games only cost $3.75 Food and beverages are available. Score keeping systems are very up to date and fun. There is plenty of parking in their big lot. They have a very nice mini Pro Shop here where I got my bowling ball's holes adjusted by re-drilling one of them to fit my grip better. I bought a bowling ball "suitcase" from them which I did not know even existed until I saw them. It is a bag to put your ball in, plus a side pocket for your shoes and another pocket for a towel or whatnot and the whole thing had two wheels and a luggage type telescoping handle so you can wheel it from the car into the building. But it also has carrying handle if you prefer.Austin's Bar & Grill is inside. They have a large menu. If you order food they will deliver it to your lane so you can continue to bowl while you wait. There is a game room, lockers and Tom & Jerry's Barbershop. The barbershop door is located inside the bar area. The game room is being updated and will reopen next week.

If an employee is off of the clock, "the one with the speech impediment", she doesn't need to be behind the bar while ignoring her daughter, who is running wild throughout the alley. I can't believe that management allows this to happen.

Hi way lane is a fun bowling place in Franklin, IN. Lot of bowling lanes, friendly staff and decent selection of beer. They also have cocktails and Pepsi products. They have a decent menu for food but don't expect great good it'spstly finger food and ok quality. Had fun time playing and also stays busy on weekends so plan your trip accordingly.

I would honestly give HiWay somewhere between a 4-5 Star, but since I can't leave that type of rating, I'll call it a 5... the reason I chose this is because, (in my opinion) when I see a product, a place, etc, with anything less than a full 5 stars, I tend to keep on looking (for another brand, another restaurant, etc) and although HiWay (to me) is the best house around, nobody/nothing is perfect, but I do believe they are better than just a 4 star. **Pros: Somewhat Isolated area (as opposed to Expo, Western, All Star, BG Bowl) Good hours, Friendly Staff, Kid friendly environment, Competitive league play, pool tables If you're on a wait....**Cons: Pro shop could be better, (but this is just being knit picky) -- The biggest "con" I could come up with, is, sometimes the younger staff members tend to be ill informed, or just have the lack of knowledge in regards to schedule, open bowl hours, wait times, etc... theyve always been very friendly and have never had a rude experience with any of them, but, I've had a couple situations where I was told one thing, and it wasn't the accurate info... and 1 Of those 2 times, we actually ended up leaving (because we were told there was no available open bowl, and there in fact WAS) The other time, we were told there were no open lanes for open bowl, and there were several lanes available, and it was only 2:30pm (we were told leagues started at 4pm) so we went back and forth with the front counter employee, and eventually she informed us, "ohh, yeah, you guys can bowl, you just have to be finished BY 4pm, I just wasn't sure how many games you were trying to play." Aside from those particular things, I have nothing but great things to say about HiWay and would rate them MY personal favorite house that I've been to, in Indy, and would say they deserve a 4.75-4.8 on my scale.

Kids were cussing and complaining about having to be at work at 8 and 9 am.. staff not very friendly, don't think any of them smiled. Bowling was fun. Was here for party, but wouldn't come back with kids.
